    So is it possible these questions can be answered? I've answered the questions to the best of my ability and have looked into our options. I'm just looking to double check my answers with more reliable information via someone with actual hands on experience before we mess with modifications to the server.

    Am i asking in the appropriate place?

    Completely unmodified server, the mods we are interested in are mystcraft, redpower 2 and industrial craft

    Are there any concerns for these mods that will cause server instability? And is there a way to make mystcraft world creation "Safe"? We don't want people getting trapped in ages.

    Also what is the most efficient way to help players on our server install the necessary components as well as to install on the server itself.

    Note: I'm not the server admin but rather this is a group of friends where we have known each other for a long time.

    Nah i understood that :P if your not playing under the installer settings (and if it's not unique to me) there's some very large bleedover that just locks up and crashes the game if you start loading a zone it doesn't want you to go to.

    I'm picking up anything i can find on compatibility between mods from casual browsing (and curiosity) o my info isn't more than that.

    You realize the mods are not in the "mod pack" your just downloading an installer and a massive bookmark of the dl's for the required parts.
    (which if available also links into any ads mod developers have so they can still profit off it from what i have seen)

    Your comparing this to someone downloading someones mods then taking and packing them up without permission? Do you get what your saying?

    Sounds good, so far the modpack seems unplayable for me unless i allocate more ram to the .bat file. (in overworld) i imagine extra biomes XL may be a big part of that when you get the huge trees spawning everywhere (especially on initial world gen)

    I'm sure someone will figure it out soon.

    Just a small note, thaumcraft2.1.6c is the correct version until he updates the installer, if you have it on hand i suggest manual placement or the install will not work, i had mine ready from a prior mod install but i am unsure as to how to get this file manually otherwise (you can check your mod packs if you have any lying around that are current)

    Also if you receive a black screen on installation remember to run the install.bat file as administrator during installation.

    Edit: I forgot to ask the question i came here to >.

    Would it be possible for you to add a few mods like Twilight forest and an alternative flight option such as that mod using hot air balloon that uses coal for fuel? (the grappling hook from atomicstryker's ropes+ is one of my favorite items if that mod or a similar one could find it's way in as well.)

    On the latter two i dunno how much extra bloat they come with, I'm just looking for a less magical method of transportation in mystcraft ages

    Terraria is inspired from minecraft, in turn minecraft creator notch is inspired by terraria... Terraria has corrupt biomes and bosses.... Notch added corrupt (read: mushroom) biome and plans to add bosses.

    Coincidence?

    Does it generate minerals as abundantly as the normal map or does it generate the same amount it would in a normal world and just spread em out?

    Also how does the generation work for seeds? Completely different map or a stretched map of what it would normally be?

    Great seed, i found a village at around -280 -280 that has mushrooms of both types near it as well as farms that makes a nice starter base for survival. My goal from this point on is to fix up the stronghold then move in :tongue.gif: This is probably the seed i will use for my private server because it's very fun so far.

    I need a mod if one exists that will allow me to hit a Hot-key or type a command to record how many steps I have walked from a spot for use in quicker mirroring in building design.

    (working on another persons abandoned project and it would make my life easy instead of triple checking their mistakes via manually counting)

    If no such mod exists can someone advise free and simple to use macro program that has a record command and a playback command?
