Hi, I'm looking for a way to trigger Darkhax's Game Stages with advancements. Maybe Triumph could include an option to execute commands when gaining advancements? I imagine there are a lot of cool things that could be done with something like that...
You can already do this. Documentation for all the mods capabilities is created under config\triumph\documentation after you run the mod once.
I opologize if i sound like a noob here, but how do you work the advanced spawning mod? There are no readmes as it's a RAR file and I can't find any controls in-game or wikis out here, and for me it's not self-explanitory.
Well, what would be really cool would be to generate this stuff in-game, similar to the "Customized" setting that seems to have disappeared for whatever reason. Maybe even from the pause menu while you're in a world. That would be incredible.
I was just gonna cobble something together in Python though, which is decidedly not as spectacular.
I'm actually looking at doing a stand alone editor in java. With all the config reload issues I keep reading some of my fellow devs having in various private chats, I'm not sure I want to risk an in game editor without severe testing since DC is actually affecting the world itself. We will see about that though. Blarg and Super may come up with some strange, phenomenal thing that escapes me.
So, question, if I were to attempt to make an app to create these configs out of a GUI, would I be infringing on some copyright or permission or something?
It seems like a cool idea, I just don't want to, like, steal anything or whatever.
As long as you are not redistributing the mods or their code in any way, or claim its official. Shouldn't be an issue. I've thought about doing this myself once we fully move to 1.8.x just from the shear volume of stuff that can be done with what we have, and what we plan. It can be a bit daunting for people.
So, yes, go ahead. Just know we may do our own "official" editor in the future (or bring someone on to the team to do one if they are willing to sign a CLA...)
I installed BNBGamingLib-2.3.1.jar and BlockPhysics-0.9.5.jar to my server and it crashes with no crash report. Without these mods everything is fine. I'm using KCauldron-1.7.10-1492.152-server.jar.
Mark, are you planning on hosting this on Curseforge? I have two packs that I currently slotted to include this and I would prefer making sure you get the RP for them.
HA. This thread is just for our mods. I'll do a separate thread for the modpacks in the actual modpack section once we release BnB 2.0 and at least one of the other pack projects being worked on.
All these mods look awesome, though I have yet to try them out. I was wondering, how does the triumph mod work? I want to know ahead of time how to work the mod. Also, will it let me create Achievements for other mods? Because I want to create a few achievements for the galacticraft mod I have installed.
All of the documentation for Triumph is available here. It seems I'm going to ave to go through and add links for all the wikis to the project descriptions until Curse.com gets its overhaul as not all the info from Curseforge is transferred over atm.
If you need any assistance, don't be afraid to ask!
You are so far my favourite mod author of minecraft community. I can remove all other mods to play yours But u can be more friendly i think I am afraid to ask anything to you. But this is your style. I like it anyway
I've never not got along with Reika. Though, my logs say he keeps trying to find me when I'm asleep...
Reika (and most others), are friendly to people that are friendly to them. As long as you aren't lazy and/or rude, you will be treated nicely. In fact, that would apply to most modders I know.
Is that why we are all so mean to you? Lazy butt...
successfully made the project about two weeks ago, but the "shortly"
for being reviewed and made accessible by a moderator has yet to pass.
Damnit Reika. Next time get a hold of me. Nothing should ever take more than an hour. Did you attach a file to the project? It won't come in front of us without a file attached.
Edit. I just looked at it, no you didn't. But you are going to want to do DragonAPI first anyway so that you can set the dependency correctly on the files for your other projects. check authors.curseforge.com and if you need anything get a hold of me. It's been awhile since we've had time to talk anyway.
Quote from SadGhoster87jumpHey, I noticed that you didn't add my Blood N Bones 1.7.10 pack to your Approved Packs list. Would you please do that? Thanks.
You do realize I own a copyright on that name correct?

You can upload them to http://minecraft.curseforge.com/customization
if enough people do, then I can have a sub category made

Its already implemented, just not pushed to public. Will look into seeing what else we need to do to get this version out public.
