Hello there! A friend and I have been taking a look at Hostblaze and think it's definitely the server host for us to choose. We're wanting to host a small Tekkit server for 4-5 people, and need a bit of advice. Would 2 gigs of the Basic Plan be better for this situation, or 1 gig of Premium?

As far as future team members, you can never go wrong with a Salamance. You'd have to raise it after the 8th gym though, you can't get it until then. Either way, it destroys everything.

For fighting Pokemon, I'd suggest Breloom if you didn't already have a grass-type. But since you do, you're options are between Makuhita and Machop.

You finally finish the last level of a game you've been playing for the last week. After all that time, you're happy to be done with it - it was starting to get a little boring. Now that you're finished, you start looking for a new game to play. Nothing really sounds interesting. You may just go off and play something else, but nothing really seems to hold your attention for long. You don't really mind it, and assume that it'll pass. Only it doesn't. After a few weeks you still haven't found any video game that can really catch your attention for long.

Has something like this ever happened to you? I've been kind of stuck in this situation lately, and I'm not sure what to do about it. In the past I've been able to just drift off to some game I haven't touched in years and play that for a few days, then come back to stuff like Minecraft. Unfortunately, this time I haven't really been able to come up with anything to play. I was wondering if anybody had any good video games for a situation like this. Might as well turn this into a thread for good video games to play when bored with everything else.

Woah, A new mod that's simple, original, and well made! I'm going to take a look at this, it's been a long time since a mod really caught my attention.

Definitely a refreshing Minecraft experience. Better than all the stereotypical factions servers nowadays. If any server's worth playing on right now, it's this one!

Whatis your timezone(GMT)?: Central Standard Time
What time can you guard?(Ex:1PM-4PM)?: Anytime between 4-9 PM CST on week days. I won't be on for the entire time period during those hours, but I'll make sure to fit some time in. I could also be on around 7-8 AM on weekday mornings for about 15 minutes or so, sometimes longer. On weekends, I could be on at just about any time but 5-7 on Saturdays.
Howlong have you played on Killion?: 4 days at this point.
Whatis your current rank (Block)?: Bravo/B-Block.
Do you have experience with prison servers?: Tons, I made it all the way to free on another prison server that had more things in common with Killion than things not in common with it. Unfortunately, that server lags way too much nowadays though for it to be enjoyable.
Do you have experience guarding?: None from actually being a guard, but from being a prisoner you do pick up the basic behaviors that a guard must exhibit.
Have you read ALL of the server rules, both guard and prisoner?: Of course - there's no reason to apply without doing so.
What makes you the best guard applicant?: An initiative to do the best I can at whatever I'm doing, and the fact that I strictly follow rules, to start off. I am aware of what is and what isn't contraband, and I am most certainly aware of who the people spending there time killing others are. When it comes to things such as Minecraft, I am very good at being attentive and keeping track of lots of different people at once - something that would certainly come in handy when trying to guard. Also, if there's one thing I can pride myself on within Minecraft, it's that I'm actually pretty good when it comes to PvP. Though obviously it's more preferable for a guard to avoid having to engage in PvP altogether, it certainly doesn't hurt to be skilled at it when you are forced into those situations, right?

So those are my reasons why I think I would be a great guard on Killion. I hope that you choose to accept me, and I am eager to hear back on this application. Thank you for your time.

Just joined, and this server looks great. It beats the other servers just by being a normal prison server.

It's great to see that they've taken to fixing some annoying things from the past. Now we just need to see some optimization of it, and it'll be perfect.
