Ok soartex looks good but i don't have any in the pole.
GO MISA'S GO!!
But otherwise i was just switching between texture packs and found that pixel reality, lb photo realism, lithos, and ones i don't usually use but love are wayukian, smp revival, sixtygig, painterly, uh, let me think, uh, and a whole lot more. and nathan's 16x which is not uploaded but my brother made
This is because i don't know how to make a .properties file except by copy pasting. but what you want is to go to the example/assets/minecraft/mcpatcher/ctm/your pic here. You can have your picture in a folder but it must be in the ctm folder. get a .properties file (i think you can get this by doing textedit and renaming it picture.properties). rename all the pictures that you want to texture that block with, i suggest starting with 0 and counting up. that way when you say, tiles=0-5 you don't have to write 0 1 2 3 4 5. so the .properties file should look like:
matchBlocks=4
metadata=0
tiles=0-15
method=random
this is coppied from smp revival cobblestone.properties. matchBlocks=4 is because cobblestone id is four. hope this helps
if you mean with the new 3-D models in 1.8 i have no clue.
FIshymint i like the difference in beat-up-ness of the door on the left and far right. the center door has just the kind of shading that real life birch has, while still being a made up minecraft texture. good doors.
I think LBPR (CTM SUP) has got you covered because it's LB Photo Realism but updated and with a ton of CTM, idk if you want that, some textures are modified like bookshelf is yellow and cobble has more contrast but since i can't really run it i don't know if it matters in game.
But it's in 128x. May i convince you to the fact that minecraft shrinks textures down, if you open up your minecraft folder you might see textures_0.png or something with small 4x4 textures, so at a distance textures are really only 2x2 resolution or something. might just be the setting levels i use but LBPR would be my pack of choice if i wanted to go for photorealistic.
Really looks incredible, LupusX. i also like the build.
and taiine really good wood, your textures always amaze me.
are there any tips on how to make a pack high-res quickly without using *too* many filters? no such thing >;x
i want to try it out on painterly, think it might look cool. I started work on updaiting faithful 64x but then i saw someone else was doing it. if your reading you want my stuff?
Peytonisgreat it looks a lot like the painterly pack, but default, nice.
Taiine, very good nether brick fences. i think you have it just right.
RustnRuin cobblestone is pale yellow?but anyway i love how the cracked bricks are indented, and the cauldron really fits.
and out of a cave i come with more stuff!
btw has anybody tried the TAUS of texture as you see, where when you see a block you texture it in a new survival world? it's awesome
A cave with granite, andesite, and diorite and stone, all with 100% tiling issues It actually looks ok! and my brothers awesome texture pack which he refuses to do more work on more of my pack i'm really happy with my yellow flowers what birch leaves are supposed to look like (1.7.9) what leaves actually look like (snapshots)
Ok. I like the oak textures a lot. How you have a stripe of them on the wall really shows what can be done. The fence gates in the other pic i kind of liked more because they weren't darker but now they blended in a lot too. I like the red indicator of a pushed pressure plate, and the doors and trapdoors have a nice slat design. hard to see the top of the stairs but i think it would look weird if they were that circular grain, idk.

I made a prismarine brick, dark prismarine and rough, and shards and crystals. would you guys like me to post them?
