If anyone has obscure features they'd for sure like to see in M5 though, please let us know - sometimes fan-favorite features have surprised us in the past!

Since you're going for a new edition of the mod, the only thing I'd recommend is to stop adding things and think about what's already there. Try to balance it all out and make sure everything makes sense gameplay-wise and design-wise. Think how you could actually improve vanilla with the mod and not just expend on it and make it easier. You could take inspiration from BTW, a very well made mod with somewhat similar goals to Minestrapp.

So. 1.10 is surprisingly out already!

What you guys think of it and which strapp release is planned for it?

    Haha. Thanks everyone. :)

And I'll just have to keep an eye on updates and see if any of those un-used things makes a mysterious appearance. ;D

It was really -really- hard to keep from saying anything before I was
finished. I didn't want to say something and then not be able to get it
done. (Or have lots of people asking about it all the time.) So I kind
    of made it a surprise.

Should we expect support for the new update and maybe the upcoming ones?

SummerFields is such a nice texture pack and you did an amazing thing adding support for it to Minestrapp!

Considering this is the only texture pack supported for this mod right now, would be awesome if you can keep it up.

Yep, we do plan to update to 1.9 as soon as we can! It likely won't be when the update actually comes out, since it usually takes Forge a few monthst after each update to release a stable new version, but as soon as the Forge and MCP codebases for 1.9 are both stable and usable we'll try and get everything updated and re-balanced to fit the new content (some things like Hang Gliders will need nerfing due to the addition of the Elytra, while some things like Torite Tools will need buffing, since blocking with Swords/Tools is no longer a thing in 1.9, etc).

Awesome! I've been thinking about how Hang Gliders would probably not fit very well in 1.9 with the Elytra, glad to see you're ahead of me. =)

Also I have an idea on how to make Quantum Claimerators useful in singleplayer - make them basically protect an area from any possible unintended damage.
For example, creepers and TNT explosions won't cause destruction, zombies won't be able to break doors, and endermen won't able to steal blocks.
That would be especially useful in protecting villages, but you probably want to increase their range from one chunk to 4 chunks if you go for it, to make it more effective.

    What do you think?

It's been a while since you posted an update, have you made any progress on the mod?

Also do you plan on updating it to 1.9 when it comes out?

It's a brilliant mod man, thanks!

Is this mod still being work on? Can we expect a new version anytime soon?

And btw does this mod do any changes to horses? I think they're probably the most unbalanced thing in Minecraft.

    Thanks.

    posted a message on [1.10.2/1.9/1.8] [25,000+ Downloads] Craft++, a simple and unique vanilla-enhancing mod

Nice! haven't played it yet, but reading the feature list I can already tell this is probably the best Minecraft vanilla enhancement mod for 1.7/1.8 in my humble opinion.

It adds and changes just about the right things that it should, but I think you could further balance it - most of the new enhancements seem a bit overpowered and not really inline with vanilla.

And you could cut out some unnecessary stuff such as sugar and flint blocks... why did you add them anyway? You didn't specify any uses for them.

Here's an idea for expanding your addition of the dispenser being able to dispense falling blocks - make it dispense all blocks! There's the dropper for dropping the block's items, so why not make the dispenser dispense the actual blocks? It will make the dispenser a lot more useful and distinguish it from the dropper instead of being a dropper that can only actually dispense just a few items. You can also allow it to plant seeds if it's in front of farmland, and suck block in if there's already a block in front of it.

And a new thing you can add is blocks affecting movement speed - you walk slow on blocks such as sand and snow and fast on block such as stone and gravel. Would give building roads a gameplay meaning and just an overall more dynamic feel to vanilla Minecraft.

    Thanks!

    Hey
there, I played this mod for a long time and it was fantastic. I'm just
getting back into the game after 2 years or so and was wondering what
patch it's updated to and, more importantly, if there's any known way to
play multiplayer with it currently, even if it requires a rollback or
    something. Thanks for everything!

There's only been one feature added to vanilla since that I've had mild regrets over not having in BTW, which is the slime blocks, but overall I think it was the right move.

    Why wouldn't you import/remake it?

posted a message on CraftGuide v1.6.8.2
I noticed a bug with the 1.5.2 No Loader version, everything seems to work fine but the Crafting Guide item isn't working properly. It shows up in the creative inventory and in the CraftGuide itself but with no name and no texture. I tested it in clean vanilla 1.5.2.

Please release a fix for it or at least let me know if there is a way to disable the item completely, as using G to open CraftGuide gets the job done but having a textureless, nameless and useless item in the game bothers me.

I think creative is a nice thing for builders, who want to plan out their creations first in creative to see if they work and then implement into their playing world, like me.

The problem is, Creative Mode is unsupported by FC. As I see it, FC needs to finalize it or just remove it...
