I'm an old guy from the "Heartland of America." (How old? Well, I have three adult kids, so I'm old enough!) I've been playing Minecraft "on and off" since late 2011. I've been a moderator on a few different servers over the years, and even ran a small server called "Burgatronia" for a while myself back in 2013, though that particular experiment didn't end well. More recently, I decided to learn Java and give Minecraft modding a try. While my Minecraft user name is "dburgdorf," my primary user/character name in online gaming has been "Rainbeau Flambe" since 2004, which explains why my mods are all called "Rainbeau's <Whatever>."

I read and I watch TV shows and movies, mostly SF and fantasy. I enjoy role-playing games, particularly "Pathfinder." I play computer games, generally single-player strategy type games rather than multi-player shooters. Some day, maybe, I'll actually get my master's degree in sociology, though I've already been procrastinating on my thesis for far too long.
