Okay, so, a few weeks ago I finished building a Guardian farm. It worked perfectly. Now, with today's update, it no longer works, at all. Guardians no longer spawn.

So, as one can see, Guardians are no longer spawning (as mentioned above). So my question is, WHAT happened? Anyone who has made this farm knows just how long and tedious this is, especially when you do it by yourself. So one can imagine how irritated and angry I am right now.
I have always had a fascination of Herobrine, but even I know he doesn't exist... he doesn't exist within the games coding, not on PC, PE or 360. Notch even said that he doesn't exist. Herobrine is nothing but a Minecraft legend to scare away new users haha. You've been pranked my good sir.
I hope you know they're working on all consoles (Xbox 360, Xbone, PS3, PS4, PS Vita). They also said that they'll continue to update the current gen consoles even when the next gen consoles come out.
Unusable? REALLY? You can always place down thousands of torches to get rid of the snow, OR you can use the glass ceiling (as said above) to prevent anymore from covering your builds. If you don't want that up there, then I guess you'll have to deal with it. :/ Also, to prevent water from freezing, maybe put glowstone or Jack O'Lanterns under the water? It worked in my friends world.
Or if you really don't care about your world, you can always create a new one and spend a ton of hours on that?
Hmm... well, I don't really have that many issues... There are a few however.
#1. Lack of Host Options. I only say this because I can't stand the fact that I can't give my Moderators certain abilities, such as flying, turning invisible, and setting things that only I could normally set. I would like to give them the power to fly simply because it's easier for me when I'm away, and they can manage my world while I'm gone. It would also be cool to give moderators the ability to switch between Creative and Survival.
#2. Lack of Security. I hate having to have a secret chest in a friends world where they have tons of people come in and out of it. It would be nice if they had locked chests where we would have to put in our own password into the chest to unlock it. It would also be nice if we could ban certain blocks in certain areas. That would be cool too. xD
Though I do prefer the Xbox Edition over the PC version, I do have to remind myself that the Xbox Edition is limited in what it can do. Especially when it comes to some features (like password protected chests and banning certain blocks in certain areas and more power to the Moderators)
That sounds... interesting... if only that happened in my friends world cuz we need dark. Also, no, it hasn't happened too me. This is really interesting.
Hmm, as long as they add something cool, I don't really care. I already like Minecraft on the Xbox without the mods. But if they do add them, it'll only make it better. I'm just confused on how people's servers will run... Would it be like the PC Version where the players don't have to install the mods?
I dunno why people have to say they won't add them, you don't know what 4J's plans are for the future. Things might change, who knows.
Hi, I'm darkpitofdoom2, dp0d2 or Nick, call me whatever. Anyways, I'm new to the site, but not new to Minecraft, well, I'd be new to the PC Version that is, I've only played the Xbox version because I've never had my hands on a desktop or laptop to do the job of playing the PC Version. So this year for Christmas I finally was able to get my hands on $350. And I know nothing about graphics cards either, so bear with me. What I want most is a laptop. Now I know you're all going to say that I should get a desktop, but the truth is, I don't have the space in my room to actually have one. So the question is, is this laptop good enough to play Minecraft?

I also have a few more questions... is Minecraft compatible with Windows 8? Because I heard it is and it isn't. What's the truth?
One last thing, how can I buy Minecraft for the PC without using a credit card or paypal? Am I able to use a Visa Gift card?
I'm sure you guys have probably answered thousands of these posts, but I'm in need of help, and this is actually the only place I can turn too.
