I hope Millianaire is one of the few, as it always get updated more often then Minecolony.I wish it was more like Civ 5 styled of downloading mods, Where you can download them from a browser, that way people who don't actually go into the forums can now download mods straight from Minecraft. All Minecraft have to do is give them the patch notes and the updated files before a new patch have been released so they could be up to date from day 1 of each patch.Posted in: News

I could use an aura multiple grabber and extra range to pick up aura further and faster.. it takes a while to move, slow as a turtle, and how the aura quickly gain vis the more I quarry mined using the bore and powerful tools.
Still the Jewelcrafting i think will be awesome, considering there is already diamonds and emaralds, and gold (as a base for rings and other stuff). I perfer it be somewhat like diablo 2 in a way to where i get jewels to socket items with that increase a stat or give me life per hit, or something similar, maybe it will turn minecraft into an rpg kind of thing when I put a socketable diamond pickaxe, put a peridot that has level 3 haste + level 3 Effciency, and a Scarlet Ruby unique that auto smelts ore that i've mined. The Socketed jewel stats are differ from enchants, as enchants gain a purple colored text, while socketed gems has a golden yellow text, so both enchant and socketed gems can stack.

I like your idea with socketing and better yet, it can fit into this mod or a big mod by itself that can make compatibility with other mods out there with jewel socketing and gem cutting, introducing with plenty of unique jewels that have a special effect, and if added to a particular colored socket on a piece of gear, it will gain a bonus after all the gems are socketed with the right color, think world of warcraft's socketing and jewelcrafting system and implant it in minecraft in a way, or you can make it something similar to Diablo 2.

What I miss is that wonder feature that if the vis is too high, the land started to take affect and will mutate, which will infect the living creatures and the materials around that area. Sadly since that was totally removed, it also removed the potential of expanding that vis-infection among different biomes for example, if vis infected the land of a jungle biome, it should cause an increase of hostile plant-life activity, such as giant man-eating venus plants and creeping vines that will strangle you if it grabs you if you can't cut it off.
One thing that i also see that has a pontential is those auras, seening those aura with the goggles makes me think of the game called Rift which is about telera being invaded by the elemental forces caused by the dragons, these rifts are glowing and if a planer lure was used, it causes a rift to open, causing an elemantal invasion of a specific type, and until you eliminate the forces guarding the rift, it will spawn 5-man teams attacking towns and such. Once you defeated the forces guarding the rift, the rift is sealed for now.
I want to see the same thing in a particalar way when I see these auras but with a slight twist... if the Aura is becoming unstable, there be a slight chance it will involved into a elemental planar gate, causing the forces of elemental foes to start causing havoc and making a base of operations, attempting to take over the world. With this feature, aura's can become a dangerous thing and making too many flux/vis in the land will be even more dangerous. However risks does have it rewards, who knows what special things may appear and grow during an elemental planer gate appeance, and maybe a chance to enter their world to find special ingrediants and new recipies.
just think of this, as i think it will actually be a new big thing for your mod, and may be a big project as you may have to make new mobs, items, recipes, new dimensional planer gate appearance, with each has their own unique look, as well as their special way of sealing a rift and returning the aura back to normal, and returning the land back to what it was as well.

Destruction can be a beauty, it makes the world look ancient. Ever thought about going though one of the ruins of your old places to see what has change and what else that was revealed? I know some people may not like the idea, but at least let it be an indiviual option of it's own, and mojang could find ways to make it optimizeable and customizeable for players.

What I wish to see in minecraft in the future is just that, an evolving world to where lands that was already explored can change after natural events takes over so that the world is more alive then it is static. Land that can change from weather, diseaster's, temperature, and growth. A land that can forms cliffs and cracks on the earth by recent earthquakes, a mountain full of lava can turn into a volcano and erupt from time to time, spilling stone and ores from the deepest part of the land. With this feature, survival becomes a bit more challenging when it comes down to exploring the mines and witness lava levels raises or falls after a volcano eruptions or after an earthquake that causes cave-ins that closes parts off and open new ones.
Not just that I want to see an evolving world, I also like to see how well the villagers can head out and build new village and repopulate. Turn into a different culture on the land they settled in (think millainaire mod where mayans are in jungles and swamps, and hindi is in deserts) and start to grow a small hamlet to a great city. Villagers when on a city make their own markets and can trade more then one thing like it's a shop with a special currency then just barter one good for one thing. Special quests to help out the villagers and help improve their settlements, and will help you out when your in dire need of assistantance.
If Mojang can make this happen, this whole game can become much more fun and challenging.

You cannot keep secrets among the internet, as people reveal the secret and it's no longer a secret. Things that are hidden will be heard of once founded and it spreads. Your believes is like a resistance to spreading the already known. Your in a forum where secrets already been revealed when it first spoke. The power of all seals are already discovered, people already talks about how to make factories off this mod, making the total purpose of discovery and secrets totally useless.
Comparing Secrets in this game to a movie is null. As people don't believe it until they see it happen...

You know what I wish that this mod have? the ability to use potions of concentrated vis and pour it in another countainer. I also wish there was some type of way to recycle the tainted and turn the tained into purified vis and put it back into the container, I thought the Vis Purifier works but it really does not does what i thought it would. An high rating on aura that affect the vis in the containers to increase faster generation of purified vis.
One big thing that I still wish to have is the transformation of various lands when high vis or taint affects on various biomes, along with additional mods that represent the change. I've discussed this once and i still think it's a great idea since loose vis or taint makes pure or tainted creations.
