    ya steam does exist in Big Reactors - when you make an actively cooled reactor it uses water/steam to turn a multiblock turbine.
    there a way to whitelist Big Reactors manually to enable steam?

    hey reika you are a genius and i appreciate your work man.

    my question - how to enable steam conversion without using railcraft? had an idea to use big reactors and the steam output of it on your mod but i dont have railcraft. is it possible to enable it manually somehow?

    i have had this problem for the last couple hours, the help webpage at mojang did not show my status only showed 'Currently unable to check service status."

    failure to login, happened to me after a computer crash while playing on multiplayer tekkit server, so i suspect that its just me, but is mojang login down everywhere or is there a serious error with my game? i tried to connect to vanilla minecraft and got the same failed login.

    sprinting hostile mobs! i think minecraft needs more danger, i die a lot dont get me wrong, but the hostiles are more annoying after you get all geared up rather than a threat. i think someone mentioned in a video that hostiles could gain stats and levels as you do, that seemed like a good idea.

    i had a dream in minecraft recently and there was user created vortices or created vacuums. these vacuums or vortices were placed to control mob movement in a chicken farm.

    i woke thinking how great it would be to have a technology system. to have rarely generated cities where you find universities populated by testificates whom you hire to develop new technologies. technologies such as redstone circuitry, metalurgy, vacuum lines, vacuum tubes, heatless light, refrigeration, focused light (spotlight or laser), lenses and prisms (for telescopes and light manipulation), cartogrophy and so on. the possibilities are pretty amazing.

    there would be different effects and levels to each tech as you invest and refine the knowledge like more metals can be smelted or smaller or uniquely placeable circuitry.

    not having the tech be just a copy of real life science is important. redstone is fun to learn because it has a logic that is real while containing its own quirks and a unique minecraftness to it. discovering these quirks will be a lot of fun!

    i know its way too ambitious to expect some of these features, especially to a game that is finished and released. yet who knows maybe they can charge for it as an expansion pack.

    animal behavior adjusted to not enter water for long periods of time - just adjust them to move to land and to not swim indefinitely, its silly i keep finding herds just hopping in water everywhere they can.

    ability to zoom maps or to set the scale upon creation. more detail for maps with small areas. name maps, mark maps with waypoints/points of interest.

    would love to see two elements added to the game, but they are not really 'small suggestions'

    -heat system must be clothed and sheltered, cannot overwork without drinking, desert accelerates thirst, cold/snow will slow over time without extra clothing, wool crafted to clothes/temporary shelter (tent mentioned earlier)

    -would love a 'hardcore creative' where each block type have certain mechanics and properties, no floating blocks, must have superstructures, basically have laws of physics and chemistry that makes building more technical/accurate

    ya good idea mentioned the basic idea at page 1 or 2 - but great thought for using it to color circuitry, i only wanted to color redstone torches as indication lights - great expansion of the idea

    -movement speed settings for creative

    -ender pearl teleport enabled in creative

    -wooden bucket idea - totally awesome - craft with armor pants recipe upside down - totally sensible idea

    -maybe there should be a 4x4 crafting menu - by using iron, wood, stone/furnace to make it - use the workbench as more tool making and this construction table for building materials/large or oversized items or maybe to combine crafted items

    more ores/metals for more complex smelting

    a basic chemistry for making combinations of materials - this game is way too simplistic for what is possible.

    colored redstone torches/lights with dyes

    vertical wiring, wiring on ceiling by wiring harness or something - or wiring harness for bunching wires along one path with individual inputs/outputs -

    ways to place items on ceiling ie torches, circuitry like repeaters, trap doors, so on

    truly fix the mob behavior and spawning algorithm.

    re-enable auto jump (cant believe mojang is breaking their game to fix broken features)

    mirrors (mentioned by someone else)

    wool clothing and wool insulation for sound muffling

    more complex crafting across the board

    how pistons sound is great! one of the best sounds in minecraft even, but sadly they are always used where the sound is more distracting and annoying than appreciated. i was imagining that maybe with the use of wool crafted into 'piston booties' that would muffle the racket when desired.

    on a side note along a similar line - what if pistons could be pimped? neon light by redstone torch and dyes making low powered colored redstone torches/devices seems like a no brainer idea now that i think of it!

    really you should send your mod into mojang to get it added to the game - they seem to have a good record of accepting user innovation into the future versions of minecraft. probably wont be accepted because these are all features they seem to purposefully deny the players, but who knows you may get them to see reason!
