Is there a way to make it playable at night? I'm using the vibrant pack, and at night, torches do nothing, and even with moonlight on the highest level, it's too dark to accomplish stuff. Is there a setting to fix this?

I'm no programmer so I don't know how this would be done, but I would like if someone could make a mod that removed Villager from the Mobgriefing rule so that if it is off, villagers can still harvest and will be able to breed.

Why would you like to join - Testing out all the new 1.8 features is A LOT funner with friends! Plus, just being in a community is better than spending my Minecraft days alone on my flatworld.

I haven't really built anything, yet, because I'm mostly setting up the foundation/gathering supplies. Why do you prefer playing in a small community?: It's not the 'small' aspect of it that I like, it's the activeness of servers like this that I do like. Having 100 people on a server can be fun, but it gets old,and you don't really know many people. Having the same 10-12 people on every day/week is better because you all know eachother, and the interactivity is so much better. This is why I basically only play Factions and Vanilla servers, because faction servers have the idea of a small group of people all working together to dominate the server, while vanilla servers have the same thing, but to create the coolest things, and help eachother out.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like gameplay?: I think I did a pretty good job of explaining above that I love the interactivity, but another thing I like is going to other people's bases and seeing the crazy things they have built. Why should we accept you?: I've been looking forward to playing on a Vanilla server for a while. I was oh a hiatus from Minecraft for a time because Pokemon X had just come out, and Minecraft was getting a little boring. Now that it seems 1.7 has stabilized, I think it's about time to come back.
I think I can bring a fun atmosphere to the server, and I'll be able to help people out with stuff pre 1.7, while everyone else helps me with stuff 1.7 and beyond.
Why PV?: Been looking for a good SSP-feel multiplayer server. The other few I have checked out are either immature, you have to be 16+, 18+, 21+, or have bad admins. I used to host a vanilla server, and it's my favorite type of server, but they always seem to go inactive quickly.
