Minecraft maps cannot contain block ids above 4095. The mod is using different block ids on disk than it is reporting in-game. You need to find out from the documentation or the authors what the on-disk block ids are which the mod uses.
This may have already been asked, but how to you add blocks from other mods in to worldpainter? I made a mod and my block ids are 4096-4107. Worldpainter only goes 4095.
ItemColors#registerItemColorHandler is a vararg method. The whole point of vararg methods that you don't need to create the array yourself, just pass the arguments as normal and Java will create the array for you.

Would http://pastebin.com/qKMKS217 work? If so, how do I register it? I made it red for a test.

I want to color my magic powder different colors, how would I do that? The vanilla code is to hard to understand.
Also how do you register your color handler?
Code:
Main:
Item:
Color Handler (Do you have a better name?):
