If you want to look ahead in the future, or maybe do some mobile app developing, web development wouldn't be a bad skill to learn.
You can still do a lot, and not have to write in two different languages for iPhone and Android.
Eh, haven't really thought about it, NAS is just a place everyone on the network can throw files onto right?
Two Questions though:
1.) Can I do more than just host a MC server with MineOS?
2.) Is "debian with x stopped" a special distribution or do I just DL debian and select a "Stop the X" option somewhere?
Sorry if my ignorance is troublesome, and thanks in advance.
1.)MineOS is geared specifically toward hosting Minecraft servers, so it's going to be very stripped down to better suit it's needs. So unless you want to go through adding more stuff on top of the base OS, hosting Minecraft is really what's it's meant for. If you want to do more, you could try CentOS or something.
2.)Debian with x stopped isn't a special distro, it just means the X window system is not installed, which would take away the GUI and make it text only interface. So everything would be done through the command line, which is nice for servers because there is no need for a GUI in most cases.
mmk, think the decision is made. ALL THREEEEEE. naw, I'm kidding, I'm getting the RAT Mouse.
You won't regret it, trust me.
I have nothing against the other mice, but I like the unique look of the RAT.
When people see it, the general reaction is "WTF is that?!"
My mouse, nbd.
I've got the RAT and love it.
You only have to fiddle with the settings once you get it, and when your done, it's basically perfect for your hand.
Totally love the thing, very durable as well, not flimsy at all.
Make sure the USB adapter for it isn't too far away from the mouse, you may need to move it to a front USB port, there could be some interference causing the problem.

If that doesn't work, maybe it just a bad mouse, or getting old..

Represent!
I'm running CyanogenMod on my Droid X. Much better than the original imo, takes the braces off of it.

Yeah I'd suggest this, it'd speed things up considerably.
There are tons of really nice templates already out there that are free.

If you have a really nice mic and want to record higher quality audio, then use Audacity.
Make sure you have a decent video editing software as well.
