I would give it a 6/10, because it's an unfiinished game. Everyone is praising the game for the fact that you can do whatever you want on it, but the fact is, you can't do whatever you want. The goal of the game is to build, mine, and survive. After you get decent armor and weapons the game practically loses all value, because there is nothing to work for. Go build your huge castle to prevent the same cacti, skeletons, and zombies from attacking knowing there are no challenges awaiting. Play for 8 hours and then put it away, until the studio finishes the game.
There won't be quest because there are no quests on the PC version. There is no goal to Minecraft. That is the beauty of the game. You make the goal and ou decide what you want to achieve.
FYI, the Ender Dragon is easy to kill.
You say there's no goal, but I'm pretty sure the goal is to build, mine, and survive; after that, you do as you please.
I just bought the game for xbox 360, and I must say that it is truly a unique, highly addictive game. I searched the web and saw that there is an ender dragon, leveling, enchanting, and more on the PC version. I'm assuming in due time you guys will update the 360 version with boss mobs and or quests, because, mining and building gets kind of repetitive. Especially when you don't have a goal to accomplish and you're swatting mobs like flies. I would love to be stockpiling reserves in order to defeat the mighty ender dragon. I guess i'll have to wait.
