Very nice program, I would like to note though, that your build.sh doesn't seem to copy your image icons into the jar, I had to put them in manually (It wouldn't launch without them, null pointer exception), other then that it works very well and is very useful!

Yeah, the more reliable way is to use the Ant build script. I may eventually even turn it into a gradle script.

When trying to launch Mapping Viewer it gives me this error http://i.imgur.com/phStr8w.jpg, I used to be able to launch it but now I can't, also if I try the exe it most likely says the same since it will not launch either, any help?

Also, I can't reproduce this. Try deleting "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\bspkrs\mmv\gui" using regedit.

What version of Java are you using? Pretty sure MMV requires Java 7.

That can't be it right? Wouldn't that be a copyright issue, if that's really other mod? I mean, you created the armor status mod first right?

Yes, I believe that ArmorStatusHUD was the first mod to add armor info on the HUD, but that doesn't mean that no one else can do it differently/better.

    Hello,

Slight problem here. I saw it noted here an hour ago or more, an issue that related to the same thing I'm experiencing, though I couldn't find it again for some reason (I may just be blind).

Using the latest release of Crystal Wings (CrystalWing-universal-1.7.10.r01.jar), I get the following error:

I believe it was mentioned by you that the URL was changed so that it was no longer pointing at Dropbox, something to that extent. I have bspkrsCore-universal-6.14.jar in my mods folder currently. After disabling all other mods besides the core mod and Crystal Wings I still have this issue. Any advice?

Either 1) delete the dependencies.txt file from the CrystalWing jar file, or 2) move bspkrsCore to the 1.7.10 folder that CB's dep loader creates in your mods folder.

Hey could you add a feature for the config for a max tree height? I use a mod called Yggdrasil's Big Trees and when I swing my axe at it both the client and the server crashes due to heavy load. I would like it if I could just tell TreeCapitator to just ignore trees that are taller than 45 blocks.
IIRC you can set treeHeightDecidesBreakSpeed at the tree level in the config.
    Quote from Sodisna»
Is blockbreaker planned to be updated?
No, I stopped updating it in 1.6.4 maybe? There is a similar mod called VeinMiner that you might want to try.

I try to run this with the Pixelmon server and it keeps crashing. It works in singleplayer pixelmon, but I can't get my server to start. Any suggestions?
Update to Forge build 1183 or later.

    Hey there,

Having a problem with the hunger bar depleting rapidly (7 Units a pop) upon cutting down big trees, is there a value in the config file for me to change in order to mitigate this?

Intentional or not, I would rather have my char man up with his axe swinging instead of becoming morbidly obese from his endless hunger...

The hunger amount being added is consistent with the hunger amount added when breaking a single wood block.

Can someone please help me i put BSPKRSCore, Armour Status HUD, Status Effect HUD & TreeCapitator in my 1.7.10 modpack and i get this error(see screenshot) everytime i try & run it :(

Yeah, dropbox recently changed their rules for access to public URLs, so my links don't work. Go to http://bspk.rs/MC/bspkrsCore/ and download the latest version for 1.7.10 and put it in the 1.7.10 folder under your mods folder. That should stop CB's dep loader from complaining.

How to make time and day enabled? I'm using 1.7.10 StatusHud. I checked the command and config file
Day and time are from IngameInfo. Google it for more info.

I too am having this problem/crash although I am wondering if you don't also have other mods installed.
I have this bug down to only two mods for sure, and was not crashing with only bspkrsCore and VoxelCam installed.

This is the crash I am getting with only [1.7.10]bspkrsCore-universal-6.14 and mod_voxelmenu_4.1.3_mc1.7.10.litemod installed. Except for their dependencies of course (Forge 10.13.2.1230) , (LiteLoader 1.7.10_03), and (lib_voxellib_2.3.1_mc1.7.10.litemod).

I will cross-post to this to the liteloader thread as well as I don't understand the log well enough to understand which dev(s) will need the info to make any changes.

Anywho, thanks for all you do devs! :D

***Edit - I was able to recreate the crash with VoxelCam after some testing. When only both Cores/Libraries are installed there are no crashes so I am assuming it is when something within lib_voxellib_2.3.1_mc1.7.10.litemod is utilized.

I hope I have helped sort the issue some as these "two" mods absopositutely need to work together for the human species to survive into the next millennia!

    Try disabling showMainMenuMobs in bspkrsCore.cfg.

Which ... makes me curious about the three mods now released for 1.8 that do modify the classes.

There is a flag (on the JVM args maybe?) that you can provide that tells the launcher not to verify the jar before launching the game. I don't remember what it is, though.

Love the mod, you did a great job. Just one thing, the main menu of minecraft. Is there any way to get rid of the mobs and my player skin? It the one thing that is putting me off the mod and it's very minor, an option in the settings to turn it off would be nice (if there isn't already one).

    Thanks!

From the main menu click Mods, then find the entry for bspkrsCore, select it and click the config button. From there you can turn off the main menu mob rendering.

It seems that your dropbox is temporarily down :/ (509: Too Much Traffic basically)

I am aware of the dropbox issue... I did update all the URLs on http://bspk.rs/MC/ to not use dropbox, so it shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Both my 1.7.10 servers start scrolling the above warnings whenever your core is installed. I spent hours yesterday adding and removing mods to see which was causing it. Now if I knew exactly what files it's trying to access, I may be able to adjust the perms for it. I have over 100 mods on these servers and all the other mods have no issues saving their files.

Forge version is 1208, and your core version is 6.1.4 for 1.7.10
You'll have to do some searching to see where Java stores user prefs on your Unix/Linux flavor. This website might offer some enlightenment: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21515420

having problems adding items to starting inventory

i'm able to save them just file using /startinginv save

and the text file shows the saved items, including the ones from mods

yet, whenver i start a new game, it only gives me the minecraft items

    this is my save file:

edit: okay, if i use the /startinginv load - command, it will load all the items, but i don't want ppl to use this and abuse it

edit2: okay, it seems to be giving items only to some players, others don't get anything, even on new world creations

Patience lostJust delete the bspkrsCore config file. You must have run the 1.7.X version of bspkrsCore in the same folder at some point, and as such the newer config file contains data that doesn't work in 1.6.4.

Hello.. I started a world that I really don't want to use any mods etc.. But I thought I could do an exception with Treecapitator.

But the thing is that I don't want to install any mod-loading mods like forge or modloader.. I just want the old fashioned way to install this mod..

Can you make a manual installing version? OR Can you tell me the way to do it if it is possible, with what is already uploaded?

I also have a request for this mod..
I have not really tried this mod yet so I'm not in a position to tell, but I'm thinking that if you break a wood with your Axe and all wooden blocks connected to each other above the first one are destroyed, a building someone would make out of wood for any reason would be destroyed all at once..

If that's the case, I would like to ask if you could make an other Axe tool made of maybe an Axe and a Stick under it, that would be named something like axe.capitator or something like that, that would decapitate the tree.. So you can safely fix the miss-placement you did with one wooden block at your huge tree-base with the regular awesome diamond Axe without destroying your big and fancy art-work..

    Or..

You could bind a key, for example "C", to toggle on or off the treecapitator mod!

Sorry, nope... won't be releasing a "base class" version of this. As for disabling the whole-tree behavior, sneak while chopping.

How can there be Treecapitator for 1.4.2 and no "bspkrscore" for 1.4.2? I'm guessing any of Daft's mods pre-1.4.7 are null?

bspkrsCore was not created as a dependency until 1.4.7. You don't need it for 1.4.2 mods.

If i drop [1.7.10]bspkrscore-universal-6.13.jar into minecraft/mods then CB DEPloader proceeds downloads an older version [1.7.10]bspkrsCore-universal-6.12.jar into minecraft/mods/1.7.10 and voila game stopper as two different versions exist in two folders putting the newer verion into the 1.7.10 folder has no effect it still downloads the older as well , what gives ??

    Quote from Kane_Hart
Not you too. I hate all these auto download libs like the core. Now I download your latest core it downloads one version under and places it in 1.7.10 folder. Why bother offering a download if we can't actually use it and why force it. :( Sad day for the bspkrs's!

Delete the dependencies.properties file from the jar file. I am most likely going to remove it in the next release as it seems to cause more problems than it is helpful. It's not actually my code that's doing it, it's CB's Dependency Loader.

I try to explain... When i cut down other trees, durability of the axe is decreased and i spend my time depending of the size of the tree. Big tree = more time to cut. But trees from Mists of RioV felled instantly, like in a creative mode. Durability of the axe isn't wasted. That's what I want to fix.

Well, that's interesting... sounds like something isn't coded right on the Mists of RioV side, but I'd have to dig into it to be sure.

I created it using the /startinginv save command. I'm not sure why it didn't occur to me to include this. Sorry :(

It seems that mod items don't get added to the players inventory with Starting Inventory 1.7.10.r01. Regular Minecraft items work fine still. I didn't see this reported, and I don't know if I'm the only one with this issue. The server console does not show any errors. I tried it in singleplayer and multiplayer.

How did you create your StartingInventory items list? Are you manually editing it to add the items, or are you using the /startinginv save command after creating the inventory you want using creative mode? Either way, it would be a lot easier to help if you posted your StartingInventory.txt file from the config folder.

First, thanks for this great mods!

I found one small problem with 1.7.10, Treecapitator and The Mists of RioV (last version). I noticed that the trees from RioV are being felled instantly and durability of the axe being consumed. But wood, plants and so on fall, as expected.

Unfortunately, I don't yet figured out how to fix it in configuration file...

I really don't understand what you're trying to say here... I read your post about 50 times. So you're saying that the mod is working on Mists of RioV trees... and that's a problem? I don't understand what would need to be fixed in the config file. If your post is interpreted literally, it sounds like you DON'T want it to work on Mists of RioV trees? In that case you'll want to add the unique block names of the Mists of RioV logs to the block ID blacklist. These unique names are found in a text file called UniqueNames.txt in the config folder.
