That Water Cube has to be the best form of Minecraft advertising you can get. Just imagine all the people in the city that wondered after it and discovered Minecraft!

I'm glad they're adding more and more mobs. Minecraft really needs mob variety.

That looks interesting. Probably useful for an adventure map if anything at all.

Yeah, for sure! I'm curious about the third photo. Is that from a mod? That structure looks cool!

Hey guys! Sometimes I grab really amazing photo ops as I play Minecraft. Just thought I'd share!
I have more here if you'd like to see them: http://imgur.com/a/LXQAD

Haha green stained clay for grass? Are people really doing that? But yeah, Minecraft Alpha was a whole different world compared to Minecraft as it is now. Such memories....!

Beautifully said RobertFrans. And good point about the free updates, I never really thought much about that before.

Very cool! It looks too complicated for me to understand but I love the aesthetics of the stations.
...in the meantime, this inspired me to look up subways in Japan for some reason—and dang, riding them there looks like a claustrophobic nightmare! Perhaps you should design the subways for them haha!

Yeah I get what you're saying. Playing alone can be horribly boring. You can try adding a mod, like the FTB mod to add a whole lot of stuff to survival and keep things interesting. Otherwise, you can always imagine places of sorts and build them. That's how I used to keep myself engaged in survival back then.
This pic is an oldie, but it's an example of what I used to do before I started using mods.

It'd be really cool if I could make a fancy foyer and have the front staircase covered in carpet. I definitely support this idea!

Maybe this is what you're looking for?

I found that on Google using the phrase "how to find my ip address and location". You really should use Google. They can probably answer your question better than we can.

I agree with the majority of the posts. Mojang should not stop updating as much as Lego doesn't stop producing new models. It keeps things interesting. I do feel for you though. I use the FTB mod and I'm stuck on a older version of Minecraft. Knowing there's a better version kinda bothers me, but I'm glad to see the game is still updating.
But like others are saying, why don't you just stick to an older version of Minecraft so you can keep using your mods?

This would be a good place to start:

Just click on the version updates to see the changes—especially the major ones such as the Exploration Update or Frostburn Update.

Yeah, I wouldn't say it's dying. Just moving on from all the initial marketing. Kind of like the Lego company, it'll probably last a long time as long Mojang actively keeps it interesting.
