Didn't James Cameron's Avatar use Infinium as the resource in which the humanity needs?

Anyway... May I pitch a idea?
The Infinium Blade
If you put an infinium core into a diamond sword, you could make a weapon that glows lightly (Light level 1 all around you) and shoot the energy of the infinium core out through the blade like an arrow, but more beam like. Left click for normal swing, right click for infinium beam. The beam would fly straighter than an arrow but have either more power or more range. Should have same durability as a normal diamond sword.
I really like the "The Infinium Blade" idea but i think it should be a little more then level 1 light around i think maybe 2 between 4 light level and, also i like the beam idea but its like idk something feels wrong with it like it needs more of "something" to go with it. I had an idea too to go along with it but hear me out on this idea before all you guys flame me or something alright
Idea:
alright lets say we have diamond armor full set head, chest, legs, and feet and you but that all into your and it creates a diamond "something", like all the armor into the and it turns into this random thing, for now i will use the for the ending product of the armor, lets say you need 20 blocks of in one cube it will look like this:
Armor piece =
infinum =
so you will need x18 to create x1 and you have to have x20 in each place so like this:
x20 x20 x20
x20 --- x20
x20 --- x20
so like that and it makes it your items never brake but you will be able to do that with all the items so the pick and the shovel and what not. I like the idea but idk what do you guys think.

Anyways, forgive me if this has already been addressed on here but, how many pieces of booster-brake/full-stop pieces of track would you get if you crafted them? I know how track comes in sets of 16, but I kinda think that 16 pieces would be a little too much for special pieces of track. xP So perhaps 4? 6? Somewhere around there...?

Really nice idea, I like it, well balanced, i still don't know about the core, sounds interesting but I'm sure something more medieval can be created, maybe a infinium hourglass? Just saying to keep the atmosphere of the game.
I love the hole idea of Infinium and i think that it should be added to minecraft but like Tupui said i think that instead of the core it should be a hourglass and it should be used to tell how many days have gone by and the years and stuff like a time and if the core is changed to a hourglass and tells time i think that this is the number one idea that needs to be added to minecraft over anything because this is more then an amazing idea. I really love this idea of this metal i really really hope to see it in minecraft. I hope to see way more of your ideas around i think that you did more then a amazing job with this idea.
