Hey, why was I banned? I was using a legit flint and steel to burn mobs in an obsidian room underground because I wanted to get my stuff back :/ There was nothing said about no fires.

Why should you be accepted into Herocraft?: Because I like the idea of a server with an economy, and that everyone works together. I think I could bring much merriment and joy to the server, as well as some wonderfully classy buildings.

Why is greifing bad?: I've been playing minecraft since the start, and to be hones, griefing is something that has developed over time. It's a habit, nothing more than a bad habit.
I used to grief on creative, because I knew that anything that was built could be repaired easily. Then, just a few short days later, I realised the consequences of my actions, apologised to the player I had griefed, and helped him re-build his tower. The problem lies in the sole fact that most players don't do this, they simply get a kick out of aggrivating people and making them upset, and that is what griefing comes down to ultimately, people being unkind to other people for the sake of their own twisted sense of humor.
Why should I make you a member?: I believe in assisting others in exchange for assistance, weeding out unfriendly people, and building structures that make you wonder "Does this guy even have a life?!"
Primary language, or do you speak English very well as well?: I speak English as my first language, I also speak some French and a tiny bit of Japanese
One bad thing you've done in Minecraft (not single player... lol): A player decided that it would be fun to grief my server, so I didn't ban him, I just set his spawn to a bedrock drowning trap under my house and teleported him in it, then watched as he drowned, respawned drowned, etc. and did this with every griefer from then on.

I need help, I just tried to install it, but it broke my minecraft.jar, causing it to display a black screen when starting.
So I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it WITHOUT modloader, this caused it to start perfectly, but not display the minimap >_> help?
Try from a clean minecraft.jar , Install ModLoader , then the minimap, should work fine.
I'll try once again with yet another clean install, will edit with news >_>
EDIT 1: I tested something by ONLY installing the modloader. this appears to be the problem as I now have a black screen in minecraft. so it is a fault with the modloader.

Also, I have been looking for a server that incorporates the NLR, because it will make it more challenging for players and make teamwork a more viable option :happy.gif:

Additional Info: I am an experienced minecraft builder, and specialise in farming and decorative buildings.
My favourite building materials are wood, smoothstone, glass and iron.

Previous Admin experience?: I ran and Admin'd a few servers back in creative, and moderated plenty of servers for friends in SMP
Why would you like to join?
I think you have some good ideas about how things should be run, and I'd enjoy helping start a fresh new server become something awesome.

I've been playing minecraft for ages and bought it while survival was survival and indev didn't even exist.
I'd like to share my experience and awesome building abilities with you and your server! :biggrin.gif:
I got into the nether, and noticed there was a ceiling.
I had an idea.
I started mining a staircase upwards.
So far, nothing.
Does anyone know what is at the top of the nether?
