posted a message on A good Minecraft recorder?

Finding an iPad recorder is tough, because apple does not allow screen recorders into the App Store. However, you can install a non-app store screen recorder (What I use to record my Clash Royale, Clash of clans and Brawlstars with) named "AirShou" from https://appvalley.vip/app/ (Go to library, apps, and scroll down to AirShou. Click get. Then proceed to settings, profiles & device management, and trust the new certificate). Always save recordings to your camera roll, because apple often revokes the app certificate (Meaning the app crashes on launch, and you will have to reinstall.

posted a message on Bobo's Supermarket (Food mod) [4.5k+ downloads!] (ICE CREAM UPDATE!)

Hello! Have you ever been bothered because of a lack of something in Minecraft? Lack of variety? Well I was, and that is why you are looking at this page. I was bothered that something as simple as food had almost no variety in Minecraft. So I set out to change that. That was my goal in making Bobo's Supermarket. I started developing Supermarket way back in October of 2015. Currently, Supermarket has over 4 thousand downloads at the time of writing this. I never thought I would make it this far. And all of it is thanks to you, because of your feedback and support. I couldn't be here without it, truly.

This mod is currently released for Minecraft 1.10.2, 1.11.2 and 1.7.10. A 1.12/1.12.1 port is not in progress at the current time, but will likely begin when MCreator comes out for 1.12.1.

(Since this screenshot was taken (and the others on this page), many goodies have been added to the mod such as Apple Pie, Donuts, Bagels, Coffee, Beef Jerky, Ice cream, Vanilla and Chocolate).

    Alpha 1.4 for MC1.7.10, 1.10.2 and 1.11.2:

    - Added beef jerky

    - Added ice cream cones

    - Added Vanilla

    - Added chocolate

    - Added Chocolate Ice Cream

    - Added Vanilla Ice cream

    Alpha 1.3 for MC1.7.10, 1.10.2 and 1.11.2:

-All versions are now at the same point in development

    -Added donuts

    -Added bagels

    -Added coffee

    Alpha 1.2.3 for Minecraft 1.11.2:

    -Ported the mod to 1.11.2

-Changed textures to prevent a major bug that would cause textures to not appear in 1.11.2

    Alpha 1.2.2 for Minecraft 1.10.2:

    -Added Apple pie

    -Fixed dumpling texture

    Alpha 1.2.1 for minecraft 1.7.10:
-Readded Apple Pie into the mod

    Alpha 1.2 for Minecraft 1.10.2:

    -Ported the mod to 1.10.2

-Currently is the exact same as the 1.7.10 version, except the dumpling texture is broken. This will be likely fixed in the next patch.

    Alpha 1.2:

    - Removed Bamboo as it caused the mod to crash

    - Added soy

    - Added soy sauce

    - Added Sushi

    - Reworked Chicken Nugget

    Mirror 2 (Curseforge)

(These were captured with Sildur's vibrant shaders)

    1.7.10:

    1.10.2:

    1.11.2:

    Scrambled Eggs:

    Cheese:

    Dumplings:

    Chinese food:

    Pizza:

    Bamboo:

Cut from the mod as of June 16th 2017 due to MCreator crash issues. May be seeing a return later on.

    Cheeseburger:

    Bowl of Rice:

    Taco:

    Raw Chicken nugget:

    Cooked chicken nugget:

    Soy Sauce:

    Sushi:

    Bagel:

    Donut:

    Coffee:

    Chocolate:

    Chocolate Ice Cream:

    Vanilla Ice Cream:

    Ice Cream Cone:

    Beef Jerky:

Private modpacks= Feel free to include Bobo's Supermarket as long as it is not released publicly :)

Public modpacks= Feel free to include Bobo's Supermarket as long as you link this page and state bobo111111/Smacpats as the creator and do not claim to have created any of this mod.

posted a message on How Mojang could of stop minecraft from dying?
    Quote from FINTonza»

To make money out of something, that they don't own? You see, we, the players, only own the accounts we have bought from Mojang, not the game itself, it's same for all games, we're just allowed to play them, as we don't really own the game, we just own copy of that game, but we don't won whole thing. And therefor, Mojang has all rights to say what we can and what we can't do with their game. One of them are to sell op tools, weapons and armor alongside many other stupid things servers have been known to sell for those, who want to "buy" something.

Mojang can deny these servers from having pay 2 win services, as the people/organisations, that run the servers don't own the game.
And you still can donate to the servers to get somekind of special rank, if that rank doesn't affect the gameplay in any way or form. In other words, if that rank is only visual (in example: "Donator" and won't give you any other things) isn't (as far, as I know) denied.

However, if you get op armor, op tools or op weapons OR anything else, than affects how you play the game, then the server is breaking the EULA (End User License Agreement for those, who don't know what EULA stands for). And it should be taken down. And in some cases, the server runners only took the money, and never gave the stuff the player had paid for!

EULA is not the big baddie here. Yes, it restricts some rotten server runners from scamming you, but it's made to protect you, and your money.

If a server is pay2win, just don't play on it. Simple solution. The problem is that people would rather just spend their money elsewhere in real life rather than make their mineplex name green. I get that the servers don't own the game, but why can't they sell you a kit that gives you 5 diamonds every 12 hours? Tell me how you can't just go mine them yourself. If you don't want to play on a server with OP ranks, just play on another server. Its their choice. I can speak for my entire friends group and family that plays games (So around 20 people total) that not a single one of us would pay a dime for a cosmetic rank. Its their server, give them freedom to set up ranks. If its brokenly P2W, just don't play on it. If somebody wants to go make a broken server, they can go for it. That doesn't mean you have to play on it. Can I also offer up that no server at the middle of the totem pole is going to abide by the eula? They have nothing to lose. If they get caught, its game over, if they stop selling ranks, they run out of money and its game over.

posted a message on Popular Minecraft stuff you just don't "get"
    Quote from HScrozzy»

That is actually one of the things I get the most about MC. The reason people hack is because it's relatively easy and carries a huge reward.

Now onto the topic itself, I don't get how people watch Minecraft youtubers.

They can't make content, its kinda sad what people will watch these days.

One thing I don't get, is the "OMG CREEPER KILLED ME LOST MY STUFF NEEDS NERF" that I have gotten a lot of. Back in the day of MC, they would be an instant death and your house mansion would be gone completely. Nowadays, you face off against a creeper at your door, and you end up just needing to craft a new door. Same goes with the rarity of materials. Do you remember back in 2010, "OH MY GOD I FOUND DIAMONDS!!!!!!!!" Nowadays its more like "oh cool more diamonds for me."

I swear creepers mobs and the rarity of diamonds was nerfed before 1.0. Remember skeletons sniping you from 40 blocks away? They can't even hit you from point-blank nowadays!

posted a message on Let it go, it’s time to stop updating

We need originality and real updates. At this point the "Major" updates (1.10, 1.11) are just bugfixes. We need new bosses, a new dimension and some longevity. If we are going to keep getting 1.10s and 1.11s, the OP is right. Just kill the updates. If we however would get new content that adds longevity, hell yeah, add that to the game! The problem currently is that the mod community is split between 1.6, 1.7.10, 1.8, 1.9, 1.10 and 1.11, and nobody wants to play vanilla survival because of no longevity. What we need is either good updates, a gap between them for modders to catch up, or just kill them off completely. Remember 1.4? 1.5? The wither? Redstone! We need major updates again!

posted a message on I hope this is the right place to post this :) help please

Minecraft is ran by servers. Your options are:
Pay for minecraft realms (mojang subscription service that essentially rips you off for your cash, but is easy to setup)

Setup a server (If you are coming from console, good luck with this one. You'll need a lot of it.)

There USED to be a nice tool to let you do this, but it got shut down.

You also could invite somebody over to your house and play over LAN, not helpful though if you don't know the person or they are cross-world.

posted a message on Why is everyone so afraid of a Minecraft 2?

Theres no reason for minecraft 2...

What could they change? It would just be the same game basically. What people are afraid of is that microsoft will make minecraft 2 and have it basically just be a update/DLC for minecraft and they will have to pay up again... Or at least thats what im afraid of (I bought minecraft in beta for $5 and don't want to now pay $30...)

posted a message on Minecraft 1.10.2 Forge Crash
    Quote from aman3712»

I know! I got 1.10.2 so that I could use mods for that version. But from what you just said, do I need to delete all of my 1.7.10 mods to keep my 1.10.2 forge from crashing?

Yes. 1.7 mods work with 1.7 minecraft. Otherwise mods would be for every version.

posted a message on Plugins Needed

Okay, I'm building a Private Minecraft PC Server for my friends and I to play on. I'm looking for some Plugins for Minecraft Servers to prevent SOME of my friends (*Friend, if you're reading this, please*), from trolling and griefing and spamming and, yeah, the server. If you know of any plugin(s) that can fulfill what I need, please help me out!

    Ranks

I'm going to need Ranks, and with each Ranks a different set of commands they can use. I'm a coding noob, so something that's relatively easy to use or something I can copy and paste into configs. I only need three ranks.

    Commands

This is the one I have the most trouble with. I need some plugin(s) that have this commands. I don't mind using multiple, but prefer single plugins (less work). PLEASE Help me out. I need this to work with the Ranks plugin I need above.

Command that allows me to see others people Pixelmon Party and Inventory (something like /invsee)

Command that allows me to set home and tp to it (/sethome and /home), set a world spawn (/spawn)

Command that allows me to enchant items with crazy levels

Command like /enderchest or /pv for private items

That's all I can think of now! Please help me!

    NOTE:
For these your server will need to be bukkit/spigot. Vanilla plugins are too hard to code and private for the most part.
    Ranks:
    You have two options:
PermissionsEx (PEX) = my favorite plugin for ranks (lots of customization), but really hard to learn.
Group Manager = The other option, more popular, easier to use but less customization. I feel like this is correct for you.

Here is the link to group manager: https://github.com/essentials/Essentials/releases/download/gm-final/EssentialsGroupManager.jar

    Commands:

    Essentials will get you /invsee, /sethome, /home, /spawn, /enderchest. The link is here: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/essentialsx.9089/
Unfortunately there is no plugins to see people's pixelmon parties. I do however think it would be good to get some of the extras on the pixelmon website (EVs and IVs, Wondertrade, etc.)
/enchant is in vanilla and would cover enchanting

posted a message on EULA Revisited: an Updated Q&A From Mojang

The EULA is the dumbest concept in the world. Get this:

    Servers are expensive

The Eula makes Servers stop selling ranks

Servers stopping to sell ranks makes them lose money

Servers losing money makes them go bankrupt

Servers going bankrupt causes hub servers to die

Hub servers dying turns minecraft MP into a bunch of 24 player servers with greedy owners

Minecraft MP dies because nobody likes the 24 player servers
