I made a really awesome survival map in minecraft1.2 (desktop version), and I had some trouble copying it to a pocket edition world. I got it to work, however when I started the world, minecraft PE crashed. So, my question to you guys is, Can someone quickly explain me how to copy a .schematic in a minecraftPE world? And another thing: I couldn't change my spawnpoint in MCedit. So does anyone also know how to change your spawnpoint?
Please reply! If I get it to work, I'll post the survival map immediately. I know all you guys would love my map!

I got some trouble with wand, in the new update. In 1.1 it worked all fine, but now there's a really anooying bug. I'm making a redstone screen right now, and I can't make a good selection now. For example, when I try to select a 3x2 stone area, it does its own thing, and makes a 10000 block selection. I'm running on a laptop, on minecraft1.2, with no other mods. Please response, because i cant work with is right now

First download Minecraft PE lite. This is the same version, only with less features. Mojang will update it like the PC version, so to be really sure you can wait a few months before buying it. I bought the full version, and I'm really happy with it. I have almost every gameloft app, but minecraft pocket edition is WAAAAAAAY better. It's only €5,49/$6,99 , and you get a lot of features, so its really worth it. Here's a quick list of all the features in the current version (alpha 0.2.0):

- randomly generated worlds
- survival (gather blocks, health bar, mobs, night time)
- creative (no night-time, infinite blocks, flying, no health, no mobs)
- no crafting yet
- mobs (sheep and zombie )
- finite water
- no caves yet
- multiplayer (only on the same netwerk :sad.gif: )
- doors, fences, fence gate, tools
- items

I hope you find this usefull, and i really hope you'll buy it!

Install it and open the save file(in the latest version of MCedit test all the wools get white) then import thr schematics, place it, save the world and copy it back to your phone.

There is already thead like this(non including schematis thoe)

One more thing, many blocks that arent in PE and other block is replaced with black wool(on my PC at least)

Thanks for the information! 's for you! I did it and it worked pretty good. Do you know how to change the spawnpoint? Because it's a bit lame if you die, and then have to walk to get into the survival area. I will try to manage that, but please reply if some of you guys have a quick tutorial.

I made a really cool survival map (imo), which I made on the desktop minecraft, and I want to copy it to a minecraft PE world. I saw a tutorial somewhere on the forums, and it worked quited well... However I couldn't set my spawnpoint, and snow became a snow layer, which is not solid. I used MCedit, the dev. version of it. And when I loaded a flat map, it said that my world was completely empty. WEIRD! Please someone answer me, if someone can help me, you guys can expect a new survival map really soon!
