Starting to sound like you need an upgrade.

I've been having some problems with the mod using the 1.7.10 version + Optifine U D6 with a strange shadow over my town. It resembles cloud shadows, but clouds, cloud height, and cloud shadow are all turned off. The shadows move as I do, much like the cloud shadows do. However, the issue itself is localized to an area only a few chunks wide, and when I move beyond that area everything works fine. Further, the "glitchy shadow" appears to resemble a map of the effected area. I have a "dungeon" area beneath the town, and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with that? It's almost as if a negative of the 2d map of my town is being cast as a shadow. I've posted screen shots on this reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/5rqq95/glsl_shaders_mod_glitchy_shadows_localized/
Any ideas, please?
I remember getting similar problems back in 1.7.10. I fixed the problem by updating my graphics drivers. That is also when I found out it is a pain to update graphics drivers. XD at least for me...
You could also try a different version of shaders for 1.7.10. Just an idea.

Does not work on 1.11.2 and you should use the soundfix pack they have you download.

I have a question how do I stop light from shining through a cave in minecraft using shaders. I know you might think or say "Light shines through caves in 1.8 due to blocks behind you not being rendered" but I am not using 1.8 or 1.7 but 1.6(<- one I'm using) and Light shines through caves .-.
heres a video
There is a shader pack for 1.10 that stops this from happening. It is called Continuum shaders.
Light shining through caves was quite an annoying bug in some shader packs.
Continuum did it as well until minecraft 1.9. I am not sure how well it would work if you tried using it in 1.6.
If it doesn't work. Try using a different shader pack. Not sure what does and doesn't work in 1.6.

Banjo kazooie, a old Nintendo 64 Adventure game where you have to save a girl named tootie which is banjos little sister, from an evil witch "Gruntilda". There are quite a few levels in the game you would have to collect jiggies, notes, and jinjos to progress further into the game. This map is a remake of that game in minecraft. Adventure elements are coming eventually. Its just a build right now.

That's not a...uhhh....not actually a feature yknow. That's just what happens when you don't own the game you want to play....you can't...um how do you say...play it. That's just law, not a feature on our part.

That's a non-issue as the DWCM exists in its own installation and launches from a seperate program (iKingsSGC Hub) which also allows you to select a vanilla version to play when you don't feel like traveling in your TARDIS.

it isn't a joke. iKing and 2 other people (maybe not even) are doing the work of an entire crew. The wait will be long because of the very short staff. Very short. They have come a long way and an estimated time if you want one is probably another 2 years time. This is not official. It is an educated guess. And by that guess I say do other things until the awesomeness is released.
Seriously though with as long and as hard as the iKing and the possibly 2 other people have worked on this. I am surprised they are not burnt out mentally at the point of giving up.
To the crew of DWCM. You guys amaze me.
It's pretty much me and istein these days working on the features. and of course Fett and Will doing models (....sometimes) and, again, of course Connor our brilliant team musician.
It has been a difficult month. I got a full time job to...you know...pay for college and....eat (the act of chewing, swollowing and digesting in order to produce energy needed to live.)
I haven't yet been able to find a balance with personal life and my job, it kind of blends together right now and by the time I get home my ankle is killing me and I am just too mentally drained to do simple graphics, let alone edit videos & go through publishing.
I work about 8 hours (depending on how busy it is.) I get scheduled at random times of the day sometimes morning to afternoon, sometimes afternoon to night, sometimes in between. It's hard plotting out time to work on videos and writing threads when you already don't have enough time to fit simple things like cleaning your workspace or ....watching movies with the family.
Things are getting better though, I am acclimating to my new "existential state of being" and I do have videos recorded, one edited and ready to be published, several still needing to be edited.
The entire core team all have jobs now, its incredibly difficult to find time to dedicate to a project we do for fun and don't get paid money for. I love this project and will always be here and working on it. I am just going through an adjustment period right now. This is all new for me and I am still getting used to my responsibilities.
But yeah, it is coming this summer before the end of August. That much I can tell you. As for the next video....lets just say its Musically Creepy.

Intel G45/G43 Express Chipset is too old and not powerful enough. Don't use ShadersMod on that computer.
Jan 6, 2015I Think what happened is we all got spoiled so much with 1.6 and 1.7 that anything not perfect and you guys cannot appreciate it, I greatly enjoyed 1.8, thats my opinion, is my opinion wrong? No, becuase its my opinion. Is you opinion wrong? No, becuase its your opinion, all of you sitting here argue about whos right and wrong, isnt solving anything!!! Mojang isnt going to scrap 8 months of work, just becuase a handful of players are unappreciative. End of Discussion.Posted in: Recent Updates and Snapshots

1.8 was a disappointment... For you
1.8 is laggy... For you.
1.8 took too long... For you.
1.8 is great for me.
Dec 23, 2014Posted in: Recent Updates and Snapshots
Um, that's the entire point.. Installing 64bit Java8 does NOT fix the lag for everyone. The lag we are talking about suddenly appeared in a snapshot right before the full 1.8 release. So before that point the game did not have that particular "water-lag" yet DID have most all features of 1.8. So this has nothing to do with "Stupid" users...
never heard of that case. every user whom I helped upgrading to 64bit java and explained memory params noticed huge performerce boost.
those ones you are talking about - ppl with lagging machines even after software upgrade, probably need to clean their computers from malware or other viruses. neither me nor anyone else in the world cannot be resposible for that. and certainly no amount of additional devs from ms can keep ppl from clicking every link and infecting their computers with every possible virus. yep. problem is between keyboard and monitor.

People have 64-bit java that is fully updated and are still having problems. The lag isn't because of people not updating java. It's Mojang's code. The new launcher is a pointless update, since most people's PC automatically prompt you to update it anyway. Why do I need a launcher for something that is already for the most part automatic.
I don't really care if they add the launcher, or not to be honest, but what bothers is that Mojang thinks that this is going to be a quick and easy fix to the lag. They are taking time to make this pointless launcher that isn't going to fix the problem when they could be fixing the broken parts of their code instead. They should really start listening to those bug reports.
