A friend and I have been trying adventure maps recently but we always seem to spawn away from the set spawn point (we were trying an underground map and we spawned at the surface, for another we spawned outside of the structure).
What are we doing wrong? Note we are kinda minecraft noobs (we know basics and everything, but never tried adventure maps before)

Feb 17, 2011I've having the same problem. My application support folder is empty when I go to it.Posted in: Legacy Support
EDIT: Nevermind, it's not empty (I was using a shortcut, not actually going to it from library), but minecraft is still noticeably absent.

Already tried redownloading the client, going through the whole process mentioned in the beginning of this thread to see if that works.Posted in: Legacy Support

I'm getting this problem in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
In response to the texture pack, my application support folder is empty. I downloaded minecraft straight from minecraft.net, so I don't see why that would happen.
Feb 9, 2011Hey guys,Posted in: Legacy Support
I'm running Minecraft Beta on my Mac OS X Snow Leopard... I downloaded some texture packs to try out but I can't get minecraft to open my texture pack folder. When I try to log on to a PVP server that I have been using, I stay in for about 5 seconds before the client freezes and crashes.
I've already tried deleting and then reinstalling the client and I'm fairly confident my java is updated (although I'll check on this) but does anyone know why this could be happening? Thanks
