The new version is causing a lot of crashes lately. Apparently those rifts like causing null pointer exceptions.

How do I best go about accessing a natural rift? I've found a large field of rift in the ocean near my survival island, but I can't figure out how which part of the whole sparkling mess I need to place my door on to actually access it.

[edit] Oh, what the hell. I just updated to the newest version and now all my worlds have their biome changed to Limbo.

Yeah, mediafire deleted the file for breach of terms of service. No idea why. It's a mod, not anything illegal. I hope the file is back soon, I really want to try this myself.

Purple-red goo eats bedrock. I'm supposing this is a bug?

Pretty fun, but you really need to do something with the lightning effect. It looks awful.

This is pretty fun. I feel like the destroyer should be doing more, though. Maybe it shouldn't just cover the sky but actually touch down to the ground occasionally, spawning more tumor spots. Right now, the world ends so slowly that you can just leisurely walk away from it. So what if the sky is red?

I liked this mod until I lost literally twenty hours of progress to one of those ****ing ogres, who apparently have x-ray vision and can notice you while you are sleeping in the bed in your house. Thanks a lot to whatever genius came up with those goddamn things.

Turn off BiomeModifiedGrowth. It's fixed the problem for everybody else.

Does this also fix the problem of saplings just not rooting in the ground no matter what? I use Extra Biomes these days, so the problem might come from there, but I'd still have my forest growth back.

Thanks, works fine now. I'm using density=40 and diameter=16. I actually like how this works, I get thick columns of minerals with nothing in-between now. A lot of the time you'll find nothing, but when you do it's the motherlode. Makes exploratory mining actually have some kind of point to it! Prop a buildcraft quarry on top and you're set, very nice for collaborative efforts.

Hey marcopolo, your fix works wonderfully. No more problems with random ore creep anymore, everything's great. Can we expect an SMP update anytime soon? I'd love to be able to run this on my server.

I love this thing as much as I always did, but have you considered changing the way lumberjack mode works to allow for a configurable list of allowable axes? Timber! does it like that and it's really useful for mods that include new tools.

Explodables is nice conceptually, but everything except the explosive gel (which is awesome) just doesn't seem worth the bother. You can just about get some use out of the shaped charges by blowing up a few of them at once at some distance to the wall, but the Spoke Bomb is completely useless - a 3x3x2 deep hole full of metal grates that hurt you when you step on them because they have no clipping? Not really that great.

There's a lot of potential here, but to make it actually useful you either need need to boost the explosive power of the various charges or make them a lot cheaper. Digging out 18 blocks manually is a lot faster and easier than actually using your explosives right now.

These things are pretty great. Kind of specialized, but really good at what they do. I just wish there was an easier option to tell them to stop at a certain point, rather than only through obsidian blocks. Sometimes you want to make a 50 block long tunnel WITHOUT having made it to the other end already, after all. It would make building bridges and platforms into open air easier, too.

yeah, I've yet to discover what allows them to spawn in a BOD type way, yet ignore control. I think it has to do with modloader. i've been pecking at that problem ever since minecraft 1.0

if you set all the IC2 ores to a rarity of 250, do you still come across plenty of tin and copper? I know uranium to spawn uncontrollably regardless.

No, that helped somewhat with getting rid of the ludicrous amounts of tin and copper. It still spawns, just not all over the map anymore. No change for the uranium, like you said. Thanks still, though. That helped quite a bit.

The IC2 integration really doesn't work very well at all, currently. I get at least ten times as much of the IC ores as of the regular Minecraft ores, using the configuration you provided. Huge clumps of tin, copper and uranium everywhere, to the point that coal and iron hardly show up at all, nevermind diamonds. It stays that way no matter what I change. It's like the configuration file doesn't actually do anything at all.
