Quick patch dosent work anymore.it say lib.minecraftpe.so not readable.anyone have a fix.
Still works for me, haven't changed anything in about 2 months. Probably going to work on a more polished version in the next few weeks, maybe that will fix it. Anyone else seeing this problem?
More likely he updated to 0.6.1 and the mods aren't compatible. Pockettool shouldn't need to be updated except for the server IP patch, it's just going to do the same thing it always does. I'm certainly not planning on updating my thing unless someone like win4263 wants new features.
0.6.0 has some pretty severe issues, including not saving your progress when you exit... probably best not to update yet, or at least back up 0.5.0 first if you just want to check out new features.
Weird, this forum is really acting up. I posted this earlier, but it seems to have disappeared. I'll post it again.

Any particular reason my post was removed from this thread?
I realize by now that this entire site is just a garbage dump / runoff pit / whatever you want to call it, but sometimes I still like to play along and join in on a thread. Anyone care to comment on why my posts are being censored?
Funny thing about censorship... the more you do it, the more of it you'll need to do. It's a vicious cycle...

There were some replies and stuff too, which seem to have fallen victim to this strange forum bug. I'll post them here.
I don't understand what you mean please expand on this?
You know those little ponds they build near parking lots? They build those so when it rains, all that water has somewhere to go. The parking lot is directly useful to you, you can park your car in it. The retention pond isn't really useful to you, it's just there to catch runoff. If Minecraft is the parking lot, this site is the retention pond. It's not pretty, nobody really wants to look at it. It's just there to collect waste.

I disagree with you, I enjoy reading the forums and just because someone says something I don't like doesn't mean I get offended.

I'm not offended, I'm just calling it like I see it. Is there some useful stuff here? Sure. Is it ridiculously outweighed by complete garbage? Yes. Does plenty of garbage get sent this way that people don't want elsewhere? Yep.

If you have a question about a post being removed, bring it up with the Admins of this section.
Or if you recieved an infraction from it, bring it up with whoever gave you the infraction.
Use the contact administration section.
This is a lot quicker and efficient than bumping an old thread and hoping for a response.
It's not about the easy circumvention in blocks like that. It's in how easy they are to make and how much time you have to spend going around them. Like your own example. That's a few hours each time you get an IP ban. An IP ban can be issued in less than a minute.
Temporal Economics.
With my ISP, if your router changes MAC addresses, it'll assign you a new IP... so you can just pull up your router, release DHCP, put in another MAC address, renew DHCP, and you've got a different IP. Just takes a minute or two. I guess anyone determined enough would figure this out.
The ticket you linked to has a reply from an IPB developer stating exactly the opposite:
Ah, maybe they've done a rewrite since then or something. My bad. So nobody opened a new one yet?
Actually looking at it again, it looks like it broke again and was fixed again in 3.0.5, and I would assume 3.x.x would not be a total rewrite of 3.0.5 if they're using any kind of normal versioning scheme, so really whatever that last fix was is probably still relevant... but if they want to do things this way I guess that's on them.
I think we should do this, but they do have a couple of points.
1. A subforum for a single game.
2. There are other forum games that are more popular.
:/
Somehow that reminded me of this section of area51's FAQ. Replace "site" with "section," "question" with "thread," drop rule 3 since it doesn't really apply to this format, and you get:
Should my idea be part of an existing section, or its own section?
In general, if a section makes sense as part of a bigger section, it's better to have one big section than a bunch of little niche sections. Section X should be subsumed by section Y if:
Almost all X threads are on-topic for section Y
If Y already exists, it already has a tag for X, and nobody is complaining
There's a high probability that users of section Y would enjoy seeing the occasional thread about X
IPB is what we use. The ticket fixed the issue at the time; but it's obviously not fixed any more. Whether they overwrote specific code or something else caused it, who knows, but the status of that ticket (as someone noted in a comment) does not reflect reality.
The solution is to submit a ticket about it, because it's a bug that exists in the current version. Whether it was fixed before is of no relevance.
In that case it's a regression and the solution is to have the existing ticket reopened rather than submitting a new one.
The fact that it was fixed before is relevant, because it will be easier to find in the changelog if they're looking at the old ticket. If it's broken again, have them reopen that ticket.

I miss "much ore" too... if I could only have one mod, I think that would be it.

Here are some random ideas; not sure if they're even possible or if you're interested in suggestions, just thought I'd throw them out there.
- Can mobs be given mobility in deep water? They just kinda get stuck there... pretty sure it's a bug.
- If not, can they be made to die once they're out of sight? That would sort of help.
- Is it possible to de-weirdify the controls so that pressing any direction on the control pad leads to "analog" movement, instead of just forward?
- If not, can it at least be changed so the d-pad doesn't change its appearance when you run forward?
- Can world generation be tweaked to produce a lot more clay?
Anyway, looking forward to seeing what else you come up with.

Don't work too hard, 0.6.1 is right around the corner

Good, then I've made my point. If you hadn't deleted my initial post, you wouldn't have had all this garbage (was it 4 or 5 posts?) to clean up.
I'm willing to look awkward in order to prove a point, not a problem. I fail to see the humor in this, though.

I mean fixed in IPB, not here. That was in response to 3ICE's suggestion to submit a ticket about it.
