It gives the player chainmail boots that reduce their health to zero. I have the command block set up to do this every tick.
I did not make this command, and I forgot who did. I just copy-pasted it from a forum thread about reducing the player's health.
The problem is, when the player holds the boots in their main hand and then drops them, their health goes back up to 20, despite them still wearing the boots.
Is there any way to stop these mobs from spawning in certain dimensions?
I'm using this in a modpack that also has a mod with loads of dimensions (Advent of Ascension, to be exact), and the mob spawning is really messing up the gameplay of these dimensions.
A lobber spawned in the lava at the beginning of Immortalis, a dimension added by AoA. This lobber killed one of the NPCs that the player is required to talk to, making it impossible to continue.
Although not required, I would also appreciate a note (either with a PM or in this post) that you're putting my mod in a modpack. Just that I'm curious to hear where this mod is being used.
I'm going to be using this mod in a modpack for an upcoming let's play series.
If you'd like, I could notify you when the first episode is released and the pack goes public.
I am currently in the process of making a modpack for a let's play series.
One of the mods I wanted in the modpack was iChun's Portal Gun mod.
The problem is, iChun specifically states on the FAQ:
"Sorry, but I do not allow this mod in mod packs, other than AMCO by Arrrg (Now by Kenny) and FTB modpack by Slowpoke."
So my question is: Can anyone direct me to a mod that adds portal guns (or other items with the same functionality) that I am allowed to use in modpacks, and has a version for Minecraft 1.7.10?

Hello!
Just letting you know that I am using this mod in my yet-to-be released modpack, the asyPack.
Amazing mod, by the way. Perfect for a pack with a lot of decoration-based mods.

Thanks!
Sorry I was so late to respond.

Hello! I'm asynartesies, author of asy's Race
One of the mechanics of this map is that the player's health is reduced to zero, making them die in one hit.
This is the command I'm using to do this:
replaceitem entity @p slot.armor.feet chainmail_boots 1 0 {AttributeModifiers:[{AttributeName:"generic.maxHealth",Name:"generic.maxHealth",Amount:-20,Operation:0,UUIDMost:12272,UUIDLeast:110438}]}
Does anyone have a fix for this?

Hello, I'm asynartesies, author of asy's Race, which is a map where one of the rules is that the player can't press the sneak key.
Problem is, I don't know how to enforce this rule.
So, does anyone know the necessary commands to kill the player if they press sneak?
It also has to work on multiplayer.

Edit: figured it out.
