love this mod!!! is there a date for when tier 3 and 4 will be out? i cant wait. also is there any chance that you will make this compatible with multiplayer servers?
I have a 2005 Compaq Presario that is in good condition, but not a very strong computer. I have been wanting to get a gaming computer, but don't know if I should invest in a new one or invest in upgrading that. I know what is needed to upgrade it, but I want to know it if it is possible.
Here are the items I need to upgrade:
- Processor (I want to upgrade it to a 64-bit processor for Windows 7 64-Bit and more RAM)
- New OS (It currently has windows XP)
- RAM (Currently at 3gbs DDR2 but needs to be 4)
- Graphics Card (Currenty has a 512mb that I put in a couple of months ago, it needs at least a 1gb)
I am looking to play games like Battlefield 3, Skyrim, Stronghold3, and Company of Heroes. All pretty good usage taking games. I also program so I would need a good computer for doing this too, I am going to be working on a big project soon, so I need a computer able to run it,
Here is the list of stuff I would like in a computer if I bought one:
- 8gbs of RAM
- 2gb video card
- 3.0+ ghz processor
- Windows 7 64-Bit
So would which one would be cheaper? Obviously, if I bought a new computer it would be better, but I am looking for just good enough to play at an average FPS for these games.
If you have any ideas of suggestions please comment. Also, my budget is about 600$. I can go higher if needed, not too much though.
seems for what you want it too do $600 isnt enough get a computer with at least an i5 anything less and its a waste of money you could get something pretty good for around $1000
i have been working on my map since before halloween update, when 1.8 comes out do i need to start a new map to take advantage of all the new stuff. usually when a new update comes out i use mcedit and delete all the land around my main base so when the game respawns it its new. will this work with 1.8 also?
Use a cartographing program to discover which chunks you don't want, and then delete the chunk coordinate files from the save file folder. Make sure to back up the save before you do, however.

mrkite77 i was wondering if its possible to add a map deleting tool something simple where i can just hightlight the part of the map that i dont want and delete. then the game would regenerate the deleted part back when im near that area. i know i can use mcedit but its so hard to navigate and pinpoint anything with that program, i hate it.
im looking for simple program were i can delete areas of map that i dont use. ive tried using mcedit but that thing is so hard to navigatate and pinpoint what you want deleted. something like the program minutor but where i can just highlight what i dont want and delete. its sounds simple enough but i cant seem to find a program that does it.
ive noticed lately everywhere i read it says npcs for adventure mode. does this mean there wont be any npc's in survival mode. i been waiting for npcs in survival for ever would suck if its just in adventure mode.
i remember seeing someones avatar of steve behind a sheep pulling its wool kinda like it was raping the sheep. dont remember much more but can someone help me find that picture. i thought it was pretty funny.
