Gases, gasmasks, cave dimension, hard hats... damn, this mod evolved a lot since the last time I've used it,it makes me want to play with it again, but sadly I get the exact same crash as the two ones mentioned above, hope it'll get fixed soon.

posted a message on Snowfall [2.2.1] - Can You Handle Ice Age Mode?

Can you make it to where you can walk through snow because when it snows, I get trapped in my house, and it really gets me mad. BTW great mod!

It's the whole point of the mod, snow is here as a challenge, not just as a decoration

posted a message on [1.7.10]Rails of War — Siemens-Schuckertwerke akkulok update

thanks but, both of these trains mods are buggy you can't walk in the trains as the trains are unphysical blocks you have to sit on the train to walk on them witch is stupid. i like both mods and hope traincraft gets updated so i can have like over 200 trains and types. i think the mod maker should fix that so it is a physical block and if something that it runs over it flys and dies whahahahhahahahahha!

do you know why it's not a solid block? because it's very hard to make!
this is definitely not a bug,it's just that it can't be made easily...
if you're unhappy with this, either make another minecraft clone with solid entities, either find a low cpu intensive way to make minecraft's entities walkable over...

And what's a railway without a few passengers? A freight line, that's what!

Looking at this while listening at "the final solution" from Sabaton give a totaly different dimmension to that screen

Juridic note : Talking about the perfect coincidence made by the fact that my playlist played that song at the same time I've seen this screen doesn't make me anti-semite,I will refute any accusation made by all the would be "my grand father died in..." people that feel offended.

Is it possible to use a command to place a carpentor's block with a texture?

    of course...
    /setblock exists in 1.7 if I remember...
You just have to know the NBT tags to give to the block in order to modify it.

Yes, I said "I doubt something this big is gonna take something as small as a week to do." which means that I think it'll take longer than a week. Honestly, do you even know what the word "doubt" means? No offence, but you're making it seem like you don't with that comment.

The last time we had to wait for something big to happen, the mod died during about a year...
So yes, this is sure (let's say 99.9999999999% if you really want to doubt) that this mod is dead.

posted a message on OpenComputers [v1.5.21]
    Quote from lordstarwolf»

Well, in short, I play on a survival server running the infitech2 modpack. It's a gt-themed modpack, and everything's been "gregified", so opencomputers was chosen as the primary computer mod, very little minetweaker needed as it was already balanced.

I'm a noob at programming, I haven't touched the stuff since I was a kid with a commodore 64 (with no drive) so was "peeking and poking" those little memory bits for hours on end. Life took me in another direction however, and I've not had an opportunity to get my tootsies wet until now.

I've had computercraft in modpacks before, but it always felt "cheaty", I play minecraft for the survival aspect, and a magical box that you toss some redstone dust into and makes a computer just seemed... wrong. So again I missed an opportunity to learn Lua.

Now, with infitech one of the more unique methods of getting around is usuing SGCraft Stargates. As a complete noob to any computer mod in minecraft or to programming in general I've been fumbling about trying to program a "dialer" using the SGCraft opencomputers interface http://www.cosc.canterbury.ac.nz/greg.ewing/minecraft/mods/SGCraft/doc/ComputerCraft.html. I decided to use this because stargate components (namely DHD) are insanely expensive in this modpack (like everything else). After a full day of stumbling about learning both the very VERY basic tenants of Lua and OpenComputers, I was finially able to close the iris in a creative test world. Yay.

That being said, Awesome mod, CC never really interested me, this one does. I noticed the blocks looked abit... under par though when compared to the awesome monitors displaying text, so after getting tired I started doing something else to take my mind of my failures at programming, and started making some 128x textures for Opencomputers with an early 80's theme (I based textures off of Xerox altos, Apple II, IBM 5150, commodore 64, all the things that this mod brings back memories of lol)

Fans/Lights are fully animated and functional, only got some of the main blocks retextured, again it was just a sleepless night with boredom, but I've got the theme down and I could continue for the rest of the mod if there's interest.

Thanks again guys for rekindling my interest at looking at lines of code.

your textures seems really impressive, looks like real computers! (yeah,I know that's the point... but still impressive!)

I tried, it gets a p surrounded by [ ] in front of every line and /p surrounded by [ ] at the end, and thanks for the solution (I don't know code so, yeah)

yeah, the p and /p problem isn't supposed to happen, but sometimes... all those edits on my post have been caused by the code doing whatever he wants to,including showing the p and /p that are supposed to be hidden... the p and /p are here to start and end a paragraph, but this is supposed to be automatic, and hidden, and not at all shown in the final message

So yeah, your doing great,it's just the editor that isn't... ;)

posted a message on The RC Mod v3.1.0.0 - Unofficial Release. Get it now! (24/09/2016)

were you forced to put 2 crashlogs with no spoilers?!! my mousewheel died because of you!

to make spoiler simply make this :
your crashlog here
by doing this way, you'll save a ton of mouses across the world! about suggestion : this mod seems to have died (again) so most likely there will never be any update,so I don't think anything will be added

and most important of all, about your crash : it seems to be caused by galacticraft, and not by this mod,and that would not be surprising since both mods modify the player (galactricraft for the inventory and models, and RC mod for the first person vehicle)

edit : damn I hate you forum editor

edit 2 : okay, you won this time editor...

edit 3 : sorry I had to remove the fancy example I made because of that crappy editor

edit 4 : WTF editor??? you want me dead?

edit 5 : I'm going to give up...

edit 6 : YEAH!!! almost what I tried to do!!! I hope you'll understand what I tried to say...

    edit 7 : Noooooooooooooooooooo!!! I knew I shouldn't have edited it!!!

    edit n : I WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!

I totally agree on the magic mods. In fact, i have seen a few mods that sounded interesting but it didn't take long for them to mention "craft a wand" and i immediately closed that browsing tab.

what's wrong with that? there's very good mods with wands such as thaumcraft for example.
it's not because a mod got a wand that it's a bad mod.
and then you should hate rotarycraft since there's a magic wand for creative player to fill engine's tanks...

huuum... I don't know how,but you totaly messed up your spoiler...
firstly, instead of opening and closing a single spoiler, you opened 2 spoilers that you never closed (you forgot the / to the last
)
secondly, you put it in a code, making them unable to work, even if written correctly
thirdly, the point of puting a spoiler for a crashlog is to not flood the forum and not to force people to scroll a lot to skip your post because crashlogs are usualy very long, but yours is pretty small,it's nice to have (tried to) put it in spoilers, but I don't think you really needed to
