Right, this was actually a pretty well-written application. Your definition of Role-playing did make me raise an eyebrow, but the interpretation is fine enough.

The only thing holding this app in pending is his physical description. It is incredibly important for High Elf applicants to post their exact height in inches and feet, has to do with their biology being very specific. High Elves can be between 6'10" and 7'2", for reference.

Otherwise, I'm hoping you edit it soon. Racist Elves are the best Elves, and I sure am glad any time I get to see one.

    Edited it at 7'1" <3

-Do you have any prior roleplay-related experience, if so could you give an example? I have roleplayed in several servers for three/four years, these include Alaurin with Oracle_Akir, Aethier, Vaerik and im hoping to add Saphriel to this list.

    -Character name: Faeltor I'llynath

    -Character race: High Elf

    -Character gender: Male

    -Character age: 45

-Character Occupation (optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. This more or less helps us to better understand your characters starting skill set):

Faeltor is fairly lazy and while he has some skills, he’d rather just toil about with nothing to do unless really necessary. He’s not entirely weak, but he’s not much of a fighter either. Faeltor would rather further his education and work in food. He enjoys cooking and fishing in his down time.

-Character description (At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.):

Faeltor is a rather tall High elf at 7'1", a thick but well tended to mane of Red hair hanging from his scalp, hiding long thin dagger like ears and framing a Thin handsome face. Two ruby coloured orbs pass for his eyes as they observe everything around him intently, his mouth that of someone who is incredibly kind and yet the occasional sneer is evident when speaking to other races. His skin contains a slight tan, his journeys taking him into the sunlight for days at a time much to his enjoyment.

-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.):

Faeltor is a witty and Humorous character, the thought of people laughing putting a cheeky grin on his face, physically it is easy to tell that he likes to work when possible and yet his Demeanour would be one of a rather laid back fellow, relaxing pretty much constantly unless ordered or asked to do otherwise. He is open about how he feels and has no problem trusting complete strangers nor does he have any troubles mixing in with others. Despite this he does not like large numbers of people, preferring a private social life with few friends. He enjoys the act of cooking and fishing and would love to show his skills off to those that are close to him.

-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):

Faeltor I'llynath was born to a small family of Elven hunters, well known for their usage of magic in their work and livelihood. Manira, his mother was a kind-hearted and friendly woman and baker. She taught him all he needed to bake a good loaf of bread and growing up she expected him to learn how to cook for himself. ‘A lady loves a man who can cook for her upon occasion, like her birthday. Remember that.’ Faeltor found himself really enjoying the act of being in the kitchen, the smell of baking breadrolls and buttery meats made him want to learn more. When he was particularly fond of learning more, he’d pour over his mother’s cookbooks and try new recipes he hadn’t had before. Over time, he’d learn to make a decent amount of dishes from morning to evening and desserts.

Faeltor’s father, Illyon, was a fisherman and hunter, and a very good one. He spent most of his time on the docks in Barkamstead, slaving away by line and hook to bring fish to sell in the market. Because of this, the majority of Faeltor’s childhood dinners were fish of some sort. He became used to the taste of the sea and with his new love for cooking, he’d take to trying new spices and methods of cooking the seafood to have a better diversity to his palette. When he grew old enough to really manage, his father taught him how to bait a hook, line a rod, and cast like a champion. It was rough going at first, Faeltor was not a strong lad; and when he managed to catch a large marlin, he nearly was pulled into the sea had he not had his father there to take control of the situation. As Faeltor became older and eventually moved out, he used fishing as not only a means to eat for the day, but a way to relax.

Growing up, Faeltor had many friends, but none moreso than a young elven girl named Genevive. She was a pretty little thing, golden hair and eyes and skin paler than the moon. They met while he was working in his mother’s bakery, she had come by to pick up a loaf of bread for dinner that evening. Faeltor, ever being the ladies’ man at his young age offered to walk her home. She obliged and the young girl’s mother invited him in for dinner as thanks, it was fairly dark after all and the woman was grateful that she could trust the other elves in town to keep her daughter safe. They spoke that night and he was on his way, much to the worry of his mother when he returned home much later than expected. That began the kindling of a great friendship with Genevive as the young girl would frequent the bakery thereafter and often call upon Faeltor for walks around town. They would be nearly inseparable, but not all is set in stone. She taught him how to sing, not just how to really sing the elven language beautifully, but to sing with passion. In turn, he taught her the secrets to cooking and baking. On her birthday, he surprised her with a picnic of delectable dishes he had spent hours slaving over a hot stove for. Needless to say, she was delighted. While they were great friends and taught each other much, Genevive was eventually told she’d marry an elven man a few years her senior in exchange for land and connections. Such was not uncommon, but still her new husband didn’t allow her the pleasure of casual friendships with other men. By this time though, Faeltor was a man, and many were recovering from the Pact War. It was time for him to truly go out on his own and find himself.

The effects of the war on the land and its inhabitants darkened Faeltor’s outlook on life to some degree. The carnage and desolation was certainly a sight to behold, battlefields of death and decay, cleared out forests and ruined villages laid in wake of slews of clashing people and ideals. While he loved to explore the lands outside of his home, it was sometimes difficult to do so. Even coming from a family of hunters, Faeltor always felt compassion for animals and people. He decided after years of walking barren fields and forests that he would find a way to protect those he truly cared about. He didn’t want something like this to happen again, and so close to home. The young elven man held contempt for those not of his kind, more so for those who went against them. The Orcs and Goblins, the Pact. They did this. While Humans and Dwarves fought alongside the elves, they were still lesser beings, but they had their benefits as well. He’d stifle that notion for now, in public at least. But still he held remorse, perhaps if he were stronger he would have fought on the battlefield were he born earlier. No, he was not a fighter, but he could see himself behind the scenes, his mind wandered on ideas of protection. How could he use his mind to create, instead of destroy. Create something to protect his land, the ones he loved.

Over time, Faeltor became vastly irritated with this thought. Battle...it was infuriating. No, he wanted something more simple, to get away from it. But still that thought lingered in his head, to protect and serve. He thought about joining the guard force, however his physical ability deterred him from that once more. Instead he chose to focus on fishing and hunting, working in taverns around town from time to time, living off the sea and land for a while, and other times just simply wandering. After a few years, he returned home to Barkamstead. Often his time was spent on the docks, fishing. Other times he was found in the tavern or simply wandering around town. For now, his goals are to find a new home and perhaps a job of some sort. Maybe he could find some part-time work at the tavern or with someone to supply food.

-Please give us a short RP response to these two scenarios. (At least one paragraph for each):

You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces

you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.

Blinking in realisation Faeltor uses his Elven speed and agility to quickly gain distance upon the child, an outstretched hand reaching for the scruff of the thieves shirt, grasping it tightly as he yanks the child back with a gentle konk onto the back of their head. He then takes his purse back, removing a few coins and dropping it into the childs outstretched hands a long with a small apple "No need to steal little one, always ask yeah? Last thing yah want is to be chased by an angry Dwarf."

You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.

"Thats not good. . ." With a weary sigh, Faeltor would approach the wild animals, reluctantly reaching down to end the life of the mother, upon doing so he would then gently lift the three cubs, holding them caringly in the cradle of his arm he heads into the town in search of an old friend, proceeding to pass the young-lings into their care knowing that they would make great guard dogs and would be well looked after.

Did some work on it, I hope this gets through :D

Faeltor I'llynath was born to a small family of Elven hunters, well known for their usage of magic in their work and livelihood, even as a child Faeltor showed a kindness to animals and a desire to explore that was beyond normal even for his family, as he grew this need to explore became ever more evident as he left his village for longer periods of time.

Even during the war, which Faeltor used to his advantage to train his ability to hide and observe large numbers of other races he could still be found enjoying himself with each piece of land he explored to his hearts content. Slowly though he noticed more and more unfortunate crimes of war, his thoughts on the lands darkening with each battle he watched.

Over time though he grew bored and irritated of watching these battles, with the war's ending he was glad that there

would be some peace, having reached his adult years he decided to try and work with some towns, becoming a hunter and fisherman as well as, when he had no pennies to his name, a cook for some taverns.

Online the eyes seem to be incredibly buggy and refuse to update for anyone else on the server, e.g. I change my eyes to blue and lower them, they remain where they are for other people and turn orange, even when multiple people turn them off they do not vanish.
