Actually, skins in vanilla are 8x8x8px for the head, 4x8x12 for the body, and 4x4x12 for the limbs. For a while I've wished that these were doubled, with 16x16x16px heads, 8x16x24 bodies, and 8x8x24 limbs.
Not that it matters, because this idea will never get noticed, and if it does, it will never be implemented because raising a standard is something that won't be widely accepted.
The standard would have to be forced, but people could easily use their old skins by simply upscaling them to the new standard.
You should take this to the official dokucraft thread, as this forum is about the creation of texturepacks, not helping you with insignificant problems regarding texturepacks.
Then why not make it small or somthing that does nothing
I mean hell
Microsoft is funding them to make sure they can do what they do on the xbox
And it won't get infinate worlds
Thats an exstint a console can't do.
they can do a lot but it by no means has that power to do somthing infinatly by making a inworld world maker it makes it more vast and keeps things small.
Excuse me what
Infinite worlds are a finicky feature, and will require some time to code(creating specific features within a timeframe is a difficult task for mojang). That's why the worlds are currently limited. You're going to get infinite worlds eventually, I'm pretty sure that was guaranteed by the developers.
And I'm definitely sure you have no knowledge of the power of home consoles, as the Xbox is on par with a moderately powerful home computer, making something like infinite worlds definitely within the realm of possibility. You just have to wait for the feature to be added.
Your hilariously over-the-top idea of an Xbox and mirror to access other worlds is ridiculous. If you wait a bit, you're going to get infinite worlds, just like the PC version does, which will remove the need for the bulky, excessive feature of linked limited worlds.
And like I said, exclusive extra stuff will only add more time until the day all versions of minecraft are at the same development stage.
Man, this is such a great idea. Maybe you could like, fill entire rooms with these, since lapis is so hard to find and these torches would be so valuable. Then you could build some kind of giant grinder and get 50 levels in ten minutes.
Just kidding, this idea is awful and you should get out.
Sounds like a neat idea, I'm always let down by the lack of variation among weaponry in the game, so adding different kinds of bows and arrows would be a great idea.
Maybe you could have some kind of elemental arrow system, with gunpowder tipped arrows for explosive, coal tipped for fire, snowball tipped for ice, and so on.
To go even further, maybe they could have some kind of joke arrows too that people can just play with, like egg arrows that spawn chickens.
It might work, but you'd have to make titanium rarer than lapis. Also, how would a full set of platemail make you look like a ninja? That's outlandish and nonsensical. All in all, sounds like a cool idea, though. You know, for a mod.
Thank you
And by no means would these items make it better then the computer version
I made them because they are needed
if you havnt played it yet i suggest you do
Its world is limited to a map.
It has no room for those who are nomadic or Like to just explore.
Not to mention its to small for biomes to be a good size.
I mean almost all maps will look like a Biome war.
Also all hostal mobs spawn twice as much and do more damage even on easy or normal making the red eye pumpkin a must.
These arnt to make it better but are needed.
I have already made this clear
You on the computer have so much more
Us with just a few extra things would'nt hurt.
Do you not understand the meaning of "in development"? Adding platform-exclusive content would delay the process of updating the 360 version to the same level as the PC version. If you just be patient you'll have nearly all of the same features that the PC version has in roughly a year, give or take, depending on how much work the developers are actually doing.
Also how did you manage to spell swindled wrong? You literally quoted my post, where I spelled it correctly, and I assume you tried to emulate the way I used it, so how the hell did you misspell it?
I completely agree with the concept of changing terrain gen to be more varied and unique. Right now everything is so repetitive and the biomes are so distinct and boring that once you've seen one jungle, you've seen them all.
In addition, terrain gen should be remodeled to fit the 256 block height limit. I mean, who doesn't want massive 200-block tall mountain ranges in the middle of a desert or jungle ridge?
What you should be able to do is craft a block that prevents people from suggesting features that have been suggested hundreds of ****ing times before.
Everyone I know thinks it's a terrible idea and will never be as good as pc so I don't think they should even waste time on it.
It will eventually be on par with the PC version in terms of up-to-date content, just don't expect it to be soon(lol mojang). Platform-exclusive content is lame and will make the PC version owners feel swindled, so just play the PC version if you're so sad about not having the same level of content.
That sounds stupid and you should feel awful for suggesting it. Let me explain why.
Enchantments and the XP system are already ridiculous. It takes roughly 950 mobs to get to level 50. If you're suggesting this be for the experience you gain from the enderdragon, it would be pointless to create a feature that would only be used once. Secondly, level IX and X enchantments are overpowered as ****. Killing everything in one hit would make the game extremely easy and invalidate the existing combat system.
Also it is extremely easy to hit an enderdragon with a sword, as if you remain static it will be drawn to you and you can easily damage it as it doesn't deal contact damage.
