My mobs won't spawn at all in my mob trap, it's 100% pitch black, I am more than 24 blocks away, but still nothing spawns, any idea what is wrong? I'm playing the hardcore version.
Wow, figured out what it was... my difficulty at the main menu was set to peaceful, and this somehow caused my mobs not to spawn even though game is set to hardcore.

Can you please add the hardcore hearts into the texture pack? I and others find this very important I'm sure. Thanks.
Currently when playing Hardcore with this texture pack you cannot see your hearts at all. Even the default hearts as a quick fix would be excellent. I'd do it myself but I suck with textures :biggrin.gif:
Okay figured out how to put the default hearts into hardcore mode, if anyone would like it, here is a link.
No offense, but the definition of a vanilla server is a unmodified server that means no hmod no modifications..
If a vanilla server was how you explains it to be, all servers would be vanilla.
Well to use your words, No offense, but I think that is the definition, and so do most of the 4000 players in our playerbase.

Hows this vanilla?
Most servers are running many plugins. In the case of minecraft, vanilla refers to in game experience, as in, as close to single player as possible. Not reference to the server software and plugins themselves. However, if you have a fully single player experience, then there would be a lot of chaos and griefing going on, so to counter this we have plugins, to calm the player base and protect their creations. No one likes griefers and griefing.
It's possible, exceptions have been made. I'd suggest making a post on our forums requesting access and logging into the server and exploring and getting to know some people and show that you are indeed mature.
