Thats an error on NameCheap's end, as the certificate they provided BlockIT is configured for their domain, BlockIT May be able to explain the problem and get it sorted out asap
it all depends on your plugins, you could use 42 light weight plugins or 42 resource intensive plugins, overall on average it should be fine handling around 150 players (putting ram and bandwidth into the equation)
It will hold but it may not be the best experience for your players, if the connection is too slow or everyone is crammed into one server, what many large-ish networks do is Loadbalance their servers (Multiple lobbies, bungeecord instances hooked to a roundrobbin dns setting)
If you need any networking support PM me, im sure ill have your answers
Have you checked that you've got the correct format for the server, i downloaded the minecraft.net Server file to attempt to replicate the issue but didnt manage to do so, leaving a few possibilities, *Incorrect Jar trying to start up, or the jar is in the wrong folder..
Make sure your start.bat file is starting up the jar in the root directory, so if the server is named Minecraft1.8.jar your start code should look like this
Do you have any errors in the client's console? (if or when a crash occurs) Also it may help to make a backup of your %appdata%/Roaming/.minecraft folder and reinstalling minecraft..
Making me believe that you've got errors in the Server section of your Config, try setting all the server's Motd's (in bungeecord) to "&1" and start your bungee server, if it works then its definitely the motd side of your config
Have you checked that its definitely the bungeecord setup? it may be your config file to bungee (preventing startup) or portforwarding the wrong interface IP (You could have checked the wrong IP in ipconfig)

Make sure your start.bat file is starting up the jar in the root directory, so if the server is named Minecraft1.8.jar your start code should look like this
java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar Minecraft1.8.jar nogui
Let me know if this has or has not helped, ill gladly look deeper for a resolution
