Getting the same message as OP when trying to start the game from the minecraft.jar file after downloading the new snapshot from here.

The server one seems to work fine, but I get this message as soon as I double-click the client jar file. Using W7 64-bit.

Anyone know what the cause is?

It looks like you might have deleted another class accidentally. Try starting from a fresh .jar file and making sure you have the SERVER version of MinecraftForge.

Thanks for a quick answer. I've downloaded the .jar file 4 times and tried to start anew, but gotten the same error. I'm pretty sure I have the server version unless the forge people screwed up with the naming. It's the one with the most files in it, right? When starting fresh I haven't deleted any files but I can't find any class file called zu anyway.

I've been using this guide to get buildcraft on my server so me and a buddy can use it:

    http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/forums/topic/how-to-install-build-craft-on-a-vanilla-server/

I add ModLoaderMP 1.1 v2.1 into the minecraft_server.jar file and it works fine. Then I try to add the latest recommended forge (1.3.3.12) into the same file and I get this error:

If I delete the META-INF folder the server won't even launch so guessing that's not it. I've tried with the latest version of forge (1.3.3.14) and the previous version (1.3.3.10) as well with the same problem.

Anyone know what the problem is?

EDIT: I am an idiot. I found out after much googleing that I've been using the client version of ModLoaderMP -.- I was lead to believe that it was the same zip-file for both client and server. It is NOT.
