posted a message on slimes should have stickiness

Making slimes even more easily farmable is not something I believe is needed, so I am going to say no to part 1. No support.

For the second part, it could be interesting, though maybe grab would be a more accurate term?(Also, it would eventually pull them forward slightly with higher levels, but would not be compatible with knockback) Partial Support.

Lastly, I am going to say no, as if a slime were to pick up your items, you die, it despawns. You lose it. Also, what would it's behavior be with armour?

Though this is indeed slightly better than some build request posts, there is still very little information here, maybe take a look at this?

    http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/servers/server-recruitment/2399712-how-to-request-server-builders-basic-formatting

(No, I am not just self promoting, there was no guide on this, and the OP has very little info.)

I know what i am talking about- or rather- what the OP is talking about, But IMO the tags do a fine job of this. However I wouldn't be opposed to this being added, I just don't think it is vital.

But thank you for being a jack-you know what-

The OP hasn't been rude at all even though his idea has been shot down a few times, but then here you come acting like a complete jerk.

If I come across acting negatively that is not my intention. I was only stating an extra use which they may be able to state in the post to explain it with another aspect? I'll edit my earlier post to make it clearer what I actually meant.

Again, I apologize for how I may have seemed, intentional or not.

Another example of what this would be used for is filtering out people who just go on to every suggestion and comment even if they have no idea what the suggestion means(Generally in a mapmaking/commands section) and they would only go into a section which would concern them, making their feedback more valuable to the suggestion.

Clarifying, I actually do want this to be changed, and sorry if I came off negatively in the previous post.

Wrong section, this is a suggestion, for the suggestion section, not a suggestion for vanilla MC. Still though, I actually made a thread suggesting this in the discussion section, but they dismissed it saying to use the tags.

All I am going to say to this is to use search button. There are literally 500 threads related too, or by someone with Herobrine in their name. In the suggestion section, there are 9 pages worth of these. It is not yet in the game. Take a hint suggestors of Herobrine!

posted a message on Cape Idea

If absolutely everyone gets the same one, it would be a novelty, but nothing special for any individual player, and if it always has a set theme it would make more sense than randomly giving them out.

I'm going with support, but for only very select things, rather than a ton of different things(Mostly MC related events... I don't like the idea of adding stuff for specific cultures...)

posted a message on I think they should add bows for gold, stone, iron, diamond, and emerald
ld one should have same power as woodWhy would I use it then?, Stone should have 4 powerWhat do you even mean by "Power", Iron should have 5, Diamond 6.You should be able to craft them like normal bows, except with the right material. Drawback power should go from 1 to 6.You misunderstood megabyte. He was asking what are the negatives of this are. I would just make the iron bow and be done with it, as I generally have iron before I get string, sometimes I even have diamonds before my first night, so this has very little progression, and are mainly useless, unless you add some unique pros and cons to each.Diamond one should be pre-enchanted.With what?
Responses in bold, overall this is rather unoriginal, and has no gain to it... Also, change the thread title, if I follow the title, you should have pufferfish bows.

2.) Also, on your "Don't link to other sites/threads to explain something." Subsection, your contradicted yourself because on the previous subsection, you gave a link explaining how to make a proper discussion thread that met the standards to be in the hall of fame.

They are very different topics, and the original post got too long, so it was buggy. What they mean by that is that we sometimes have them just link to a mod showcase or something.

Really all keeping a community is is keeping their interest, so if it something that can be continued indefinitely, or has many things to be accomplished, then your community will build.

In order to come up with something unique, first choose an aspect you want to focus on, such as building, PVP, archery, parkour, or whatever you want.

Then, think of a way to test their skills in it. once you have that, you have a basic minigame. Otherwise, you can ask people on here for minigames they thought of but were too lazy to make. Heck, you could just take a normal game and make a new spin on it.

For community, that is more difficult, though it is mainly going to be the members first impression of it to see if they would like the server, if you have someone randomly chtig lyk ths then you aren't as likely to get people that speak well to stay, same for how rude they are/mannerisms they take. Basically just have a good example for those just joining.

Uniqueness, uniqueness, uniqueness. Make a server as unique as possible, because that's the only way it'll survive with the massive amount of servers we have right now.

I actually could not agree more with this. As a second point though, I would say specializing in one thing would make that one thing be very good, as opposed to a bunch of mediocre games. So basically focus and originality.

I am surprised of the lack of comments, but anyway, I would probably use this for starting a villager farm, then most likely never use it again, but could be useful.

Thanks for the extremely helpful post!

Just a thought, but shouldn't you also mention the minecraft version of there server? You mentioned that it has 1.7 commands but it could be any of the versions from 1.7.2 to 1.7.10!

Still a great post though, thanks.

Will do, and thanks for the feedback!

I just didn't have that because it was such a small thing, which the player would find out in 30-40 seconds(Starting up MC, and going to server list) where it displays the version number, but good idea nonetheless.
