    These are actually items found in the default Minecraft directory of: assets\minecraft\textures\items so if you edit those in Gimp and make them blank (no texture), with names of:

    empty_armor_slot_shield

    empty_armor_slot_leggings

    empty_armor_slot_helmet

    empty_armor_slot_chestplate

    empty_armor_slot_boots

    in that directory of your resource pack, you shouldn't see them any more!

    Also I like the sword!

    I would love to see a way to set more always-loaded chunks, and also allow setblock, fill and other commands work in unloaded chunks by simply loading them up, placing the blocks or excecuting the commands, and then unloading them again. This would help mapmakers out incredibly.

    EDIT: I'm pretty sure this feature is in the pocket edition, or is coming to it, so hopefully we can have this for PC soon.

    A new selector, @re which would target a random entity (hence the @r which is normally random player, and the @e which is all entities). I would find this very useful, especially in creating a true randomizer.

    posted a message on SIMPLE function on a server?

    Thanks for the swift reply! I did get this function to run both my commands successfully on my server! I did change the @p to @s as you suggested, but I did leave the ~-0.1 and it seemed to work fine. The main issue was getting the function to work at all. With regards to the wiki page, I did actually look at it, and was able to run a similar function in a singleplayer world with relative ease, but It was doing it on a server that I couldn't figure out.

    Anyways, thanks again for the help!

    posted a message on SIMPLE function on a server?

    I want to use a simple function:

    execute @a ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-0.1 ~ grass 0 effect @p speed 5 5
    execute @a ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-0.1 ~ grass 0 effect @p strength 5 5

    And I want to run it on my server, but I don't know:

    1. If this is even possible

    2. How (what filepath to use)

    I am playing in version 1.12.1

    Attached is an image showing where the mcfunction is located.

    Thanks in advance!

    How would you get them off then?

    Some other button that doesn't currently have a use e.g P for "pet" or "parrot" or shift + space or something.

    Something to prevent jumping from making pet parrots fly off your shoulder!

    You can't select entities in 1.7 due to the lack of the @e selector. I have no other ideas on how to do it in 1.7. Yet again, I don't know how to do lasers in 1.7. The version is really a setback isn't it? If you want slanted blocks you could install a sloped blocks mod as an option. As for the door,

    Sorry, it's the best I could do.

    Hopefully you do not mind, but I got bored and played around with the texture a bit, here is the result:

    Paths are always a good choice in my opinion, provided that it is a reasonable distance between the 2 (or more) buildings or towns you are connecting!

    Hi! I've had minecraft since back when it was free and i've always been a huge fan of mods and texture/resource packs, but never really tried my own hand at anything until semi recently. A couple months ago I started working on some textures for minecraft and I thought i'd show some off here? Very wip still but I'd love some feedback.

    Cobblestone and stone brick types:

    Ores:

    Sand, sandstone, and some obsidian:

    and a tree!:

    Very very nice! I like the retro dungeon-esque feel, and the color scheme is also very nice. My only concern is the obsidian does not tile particularly well (unless of course that was your goal!)

    If it worked the way it does in Terraria (that you can place as many down below you as you want until it hits something) then it will be even more useful than ladders

    posted a message on I do not understand this creation by SimplySarc

    I am almost certain it is a resource pack, basically, there is a feature that you can dye leather armour, and there are alot of colours. he must have changed the models of leather boots to be un-coloured overlay textures, (so they dont look anything like boots) and I imagine the different textures come from different damage values of the leather boots. And then he would have just combined different patterns together to make the new blocks.

    Hope this was understandable.. :o

    posted a message on 2 Command Block Questions

    I have a world available for download if I can email it to you, but otherwise here is my best explanation:

    When the button is pressed for each class, it gives the class-specific items (green)

    and at the same time, all the class-specific items it shouldn't have are removed (so that players cant cheat the system)(orange)

    Archer class commands (in order):

    give @p bow 1 0 {Unbreakable:1b,ench:[{id:51,lvl:1}]}give @p bow 1 0 {Unbreakable:1b,ench:[{id:51,lvl:1}]}
    give @p arrow 64
    clear @p minecraft:iron_sword
    clear @p minecraft:shield
    tellraw @p {"text":"Chosen Archer set.","color":"gold"}
    So what this command essentially does is, give the nearest player a bow, arrows, and clears the player of the possible Iron sword and shield, given they had them in the first place.

    Warrior class

    give @p iron_sword 1 0 {Unbreakable:1b}
    give @p shield 1 0 {Unbreakable:1b}
    clear @p arrow
    clear @p bow
    tellraw @p {"text":"Chosen Warrior set.","color":"red"}

    This command line is much the same: gives the nearest player a bow, arrows, and clears the player of the possible Iron sword and shield, given they had them in the first place.
