Could you perhaps make a config so you can alter the currency value?
64 is an odd number to work with when calculating for example
2 iron tokens + 15 copper tokens =
It would be more convenient if you could manualy change it to for instance 50:D
Please let me know what you think of this

If you'd like a forumula to figure out the conversion from base 64 to say a decimal (dollars and cents) version, here's how it works.
Let's say each platinum token is $1.
With that in mind, the conversion of gold to decimal would be: x= n / (64).
Silver/Iron tokens: x=n/(642)
Copper tokens: x=n/(643)
So, let's say you have 31 copper, 14 silver, 19 gold, and 4 platinum tokens, your equation would be:
Personally, I'm using Essentials, and using the Trade sign shop that comes with it, works for me. I'm able to sell folks creative-only items using the [Buy] sign, as well as any other items I deem necessary. For instance, I have a creative RF energy cell for sale for 500 platinum tokens. the lines on the sign are:
TekkLor is a brainchild of mine. I was tired of all the other modpacks having just about everything in them. Don't get me wrong, I like them too, but I wanted a modpack that wouldn't be quite as easy as the rest. So I started to look for mods and tweaks that would complement each other, as well as provide me and my friends with a challenge.
So the basic idea is a modpack that would require folks to work together, even for just a little while. That's where Ars Magica 2 and Thaumcraft come in. That's all well and good, but that only provides the Lore. Now we add the Tech. We now have Thermal Expansion and RotaryCraft! But it doesn't stop there.
I wanted style and flair. So I added Pam's Mods (HarvestCraft, Weee Flowers, Melon Spawn, and more). And I wanted definite biomes. Sure other biomes are generated and may make the pack smaller, but Biomes O' Plenty has sooo much more! Add in Natura to give the Overworld more flair, and even make the Nether more than just a place to get lava.
This was all well and good, but with just these mods, it might take you a few days of hard-core playing to finish them all. Nope. This won't do. So I added Tinker's Construct, then IguanaMan's Tweaks for Tinker's Construct. Why you ask? Because, quite frankly, I didn't like that with a little effort, you could have diamonds within a few hours of playing. Where's the fun in that?!!? So now you can't craft most of your starting vanilla tools. But how am I supposed to mine iron? Simple. You have to craft a flint pickaxe, and level that pickaxe up. Pfft. XP on a tool? Yes, XP on a tool. But that tool will stay with you for the rest of your life. Why? Because you can upgrade parts of it, add modifiers to it (better than enchants), and even rename your tools! Plus, there are many tiers of tools to keep you busy. Why would you craft a diamond sword that does only 6 hits of damage per swing...when you can craft a Rapier that does double digits of damage? I'll tell you why.
Because the monsters are bigger and badder. There are monsters that have much more health. But you can also give yourself more health. From the basic 20 hit points all the way up to 80 hit points of health. But health isn't what it used to be. Now you have to contend with Hunger! That's right. As you work, run, play, and jump--your body uses up your hunger bar. Well I guess I'll just munch on some pork chops then. Three or four ought to do it. Nope. The easier it is to obtain the food, the more of it you'll need to replenish your hunger. But the more complex the recipes (over 300 of them), the more hunger it feeds, as well as the longer you stay well fed. And yes, you can starve to death. As a matter of fact, the lower your hunger, the more debuffs you suffer from.
All of this combined together gives you TekkLor.
I hope that you'll enjoy the pack, and hope you'll stop by the server to say hi to me, Zhivotnoya! I'll be there from time to time, and all my friends will let me know that you stopped by. I created this pack over a year ago, and have been tweaking it to be balanced, playable, and fun.
So, download it, and I'll see you out there!

A few I added to my own client:
Optifine (mainly because Optifine doesn't like to be bundled, and I have a crappy computer )
ShadersModCore v2.2.2 (even tho the comp is crappy, my card isn't that bad..still get 15-20fps multiplayer and 30-35fps single player with shaders)
Great mod! Just one question though--can you turn off the fruit trees? The reason I ask is because they completely circumvent the Hunger Overhaul. The whole purpose of the Hunger Overhaul is to make stuff like fruits and berries harder to sate your hunger. However, a few friends are helping me to test my beta mod pack and they are able to get around the hunger rules using persimmons and such.
Any ideas? I've looked in the all of the configs, to no solution.
I love the idea of this mod, and a tangible currency, but as others have stated, I'm on 1.6.4 and I'm getting a crash with it. Do you have any plans to update?
Glad to see that I'm not the only one that gets a crash. Even though it says 1.6.2, sometimes they do work on 1.6.4. I'm not gonna ask about the 1.6.4 update, I'll just keep checking the OP.
Just a question, but I saved a world about a week ago, and there was only like 30 villagers, then I came back to the file today, loaded it up, and there were hundreds...does Millenaire do a file date-check and 'spawn' in an appropriate amount of population, based on the total amount of minecraft days and resources to 'catch up'? Here's a pic: http://gyazo.com/c13...068e47fac272358
I have a suggestion, that may have already been made. But how about some sort of backend that could work with a website to display the photos taken by the server users. This way server patrons can take photos of awesome builds, that are shared on the server's webpage, and they can in turn save those photos for display elsewhere.
And since you are exporting photos, a configurable 'watermark-trademark' could be printed on the photo in a corner--ie: "Photo taken on Goofy's Server (19Jun2013)".
However Ryan used his funds for his server, it seems purely Juvenile for a person in a staff position to do this. Being a staff member means that you have the respect of your fellow staff members and owners, and you have a huge responsibility to do what's right ALL OF THE TIME.
Clearly, Ryan and Yanz don't deserve to be in such respected and responsible positions.
Had they been staff on my server, they would have been demoted, muted, and banned (ip and name) from all of my servers.
Very irresponsible. Even if you do have a beef with someone, you don't seek revenge. You look the other way and act more like an adult and move on. There will always be little whiny babies that never get their way. It seems that Ryan and Yanz fall in this category.
Found an interesting bug (one that a server patron pointed out to me)...
If you create a rather large MFFS field around your estate, the forcefield is actually in all 3 realms simultaneously (The End, Overworld, and The Nether) at the appropriate coordinates. This is taking into effect the coordinate offsets that The End and The Nether have in relation to the Overworld.
I'm currently using your mod with the FTB Ultimate pack, having removed wireless redstone CBE, Twilight Forest, Mystcraft, chicken chunks, and the Portal Gun.
Great mod! We use in on our server and love it. One thing we were talking about needing is a Tender for the Steam Locomotive. A tender is basically a storage device that holds extra fuel (wood, coal) and water so the locomotive doesn't have to stop so often.
Keep up the great work and I'm going back to continue building my railroad empire.
I noticed it crashed my server when I tried to set off a firework without the fireworks star in the recipe. I see they fixed that issue in 1.4.7, but I'm using 1.4.6. Here's a link to the pastebin of my error code, for continuity and history.
I'm curious how much smaller and faster it would run if you used RedPower to create it. You can get a client from technicpack.net. RedPower gives you single-block gates as well as the ability to wrap wires on walls and ceilings as well as floors. Well, all of the components can be placed on any surface. Might be interesting to see...
Our server is called JLG's Altered Reality, after it's founder JLGReality. I'm the admin, and general mayhem inducer on this server.
We offer 4 worlds to build on, each with their own set of rules. Many features are planned, and being implemented, but there's plenty of security to play in the mean time.
4 Worlds:
1. Alpha Centauri - This will be the first world you come to as a guest. Simple rules to get promoted:
Build an awesome house. Something you can be proud of, and that will distinguish your building prowess!
Register on our forums (www.jlgreality.net/www/) this is where you gain news about projects, and other server happenings.
When you are done these things, leave the admin (Zhivotnoya) a PM on the forums with the coordinates of your house.
2. Terra -- This is the main 'creative' build planet. This used to be a 1.7 world with many massive builds on it, so we moved it over to the new server to keep a sense of continuity.
3. Novus -- This is the 'SMP' world. Each world has it's own inventory, so you can't bring tools from other worlds to make stuff. And unless you are a donator, you can't spawn stuff either.
4. Underworld -- This is the SMP Nether. Your inventories will be linked for Novus and Underworld, to allow you to cart stuff back and forth. You can build your own portal, if you wish, but we provide a stargate to each world for ease of travel.
As mentioned above, we use the Wormhole X-treme plugin to move between worlds. This is a free gate network, and it also allows our donators to build a private network of gates as well.
We'll also be upgrading the economy in the next week or so (from the post date on this message) to jump start the economy on the SMP world.

that work for you? Cuz that's how I store tranactions in my MySQL database using ComputerCraft.
