Richard always strove to be a good person. He tried to stop people committing crimes, and tried to help those in need. In his home town, he was largely liked, until he left to travel around in his quest to help others for a greater good. One of his main goals was to help with medicine, as he was great with first aid skills. Another thing he wanted to achieve was stopping the many evil groups across the Wasteland, no matter how hard it was. He would even die trying if it would stop someone's mischievous plans.
Richard has always been fascinated with the human body, and mostly the fact that it can regenerate with so little help. Where he was raised, he would always visit his local doctor. Every day, he would sit by his side and watch him heal his patients. Later on in life, as a teenager, he took on an apprenticeship. He later took his place when the doctor retired, and actually ended up saving the doctor's life after he was jumped by some hooligans. This was where he found out he was in love with helping others.
However, he has flaws, like any other human. There was a time when there was not much food around. The only food available was at insane prices. He had to have something to eat. While searching around, he found a dead corpse from a couple days ago. While thinking about what to with it, he decided he would do the unthinkable- eat the meat off of it. From that day forward, he would eat human at least once a week. If this eating pattern was disrupted, he would be full of anxiety and depression until he managed to eat more of the amazing human flesh, for he was longing for the taste.

As Richard unloaded his last clip on a wild bhramin for its meat, he knew he was in trouble. How was he to survive with no weapon besides his bare fists? He was never very strong, put he had a good shot and some medical wits. He then saw a traveler out in the distance. "Ho, there! Do you have any 10mm ammo?" He shouted. This could have been a death wish for him, but luckily, the man was friendly. "I do, but do you have the caps?" The stranger replied. As they walked closer to each other, Richard noticed a large wound on his arm. "I believe I have something better than caps," Richard said, pulling out a stimpack. "I could heal your wounds up." After the wounds were healed, the trade was made, and Richard went on his way.
