Hello there friends, my name is Xonat and i've recently started a server. Long story short it's in early testing stages and I would like around 5-10 "test subjects" to make sure that my server can run smooth and that all the stuff the server possess can handle large amounts of players/staff and etc. If you're interested in helping me test my server, please let me know a way of contacting you! Preferably Skype! Thanks!
The site looks absolutely amazing! I really like how clean and high quality the graphics are on this site! It's very very appealing, and I love just looking at it! Anyway, I did have a question if anyone could answer it. I notice other people's accounts don't say they just joined. Mine says I just joined when I've been a member for a few days now. Does the beta site not like transfer all the information and statistics from an individuals account over to this one? Just curious! Love the new forum site!
Make sure all your mods that you have are the same version as your forge. Also make sure that your minecraft is the same version as forge. This happened to me a few days ago. Just make sure everything is on the same version.
This is true, but whether you do this technique or not, the game is called Minecraft and if you want to have fun in Survival mode you're going to need to have a lot of mining time and stone anyway!
I feel like doing 3x3x3 covers more ground, that's the only reason why I suggested that. The turning part basically forms a branch system underground and can expose more ores than digging a smaller hole/tunnel.
If you're like a lot of people playing minecraft, you don't have an efficient way of mining diamonds. Well I'm going to show you how to do so. Basically all you have to do go down underground to about level, 13, 12, 11, or 10. These levels seem the be were most diamonds spawn. All you have to do once you're down there is to find a wall and dig a 3x3x3 tunnel going straight for at least 100 blocks. After you've done that you should take a sharp right or left again with the 3x3x3 tunnel. Doing this for a while will result in finding a LOT of "valuable" ores, including diamonds! As you can see in my tunnel, it's not that big. That's because this is really efficient and will help you find more diamonds in no time at all! Hopefully this helped any beginners or anyone in general!
Try using bone meal on some of them. I noticed that there is a jungle tree sapling. I'm not sure if that one will grow because they tend to be quite tall. Try using just oak, birch, or spruce. Use bone meal on a few of them and see if they grow because i'm not sure why they are not currently growing.
I was playing Minecraft the other day and I switch to the latest snapshot (14w21b). Just to see what is coming in the next Minecraft update (1.8). and I switched back to the current minecraft version, 1.7.9 and I lost ALL my items in my inventory. I haven't checked to see if everything in the world was lost as well. But this is a major bug and it really upset me because I worked really hard to get a lot of the items I had! So if anyone is thinking about doing this, I highly recommend that you be careful! Okay, I'm adding on to this post from this point. I was in a mine shaft when I noticed all my inventory was lost from switching minecraft versions. I walked back to my house and noticed all my paintings and item frames were knocked of the wall and everything in my chests were gone as well. This includes all my miscellaneous items, my very valuables items and everything else! When I started the world I turned OFF "Allow Cheats" just so I wouldn't be tempted to cheat. But since that's off I can't spawn back all the stuff I lost! I'm really upset about this and if I find a fix I will be sure to add on to this post! I'm really upset about this! So please take this as a warning NOT to switch from snapshot version 14w21b to 1.7.9!
