Well how good are you with cannons? I would say i am pretty good, a 7/10. My best cannon right now is this one:
Randomness3333' cannons:
Giant Cannon V3:
Diagonal Cannon:
g1teglover's cannons:
Misscoriel's cannons:
Show of your best cannons and ask questions about TNT cannons in general.
Here, I show you an unbreakable vault I made, and how to make one. The only way to get in is to use the right password. Sorry if the quality is bad.
Basically, an NOR gate is used on XOR gates to determine whether the password is correct. A repeater-locking and resetting mechanism is provided so people don't look at your password while you're in the vault. Command blocks are used to teleport you into and out of a vault protected by bedrock. The vault is fully customizable, and the wiring is simple.
I challenge you to break into this! There might always be something that I forget. If you can't do that, try to grief it so that only an operator can repair it. Remember to follow the guidelines at the end of the video.
Since a lot of people are asking this, i thought this might help.
To give enchanted items through command blocks, you must place the activator and connect it to 2 command blocks. On one of the command blocks, set it back by 1 with a redstone repeater and type in the set-back one "Enchant @p [Enchantment ID] [Level]". Then, in the one without the repeater, type /give @p [Item that is going to be enchanted] [Amount]. Then, you're done!

Let me start off by saying Minecraft, is an absolutely amazing game, as it is now. As in, if there were no more updates, it is STILL, an amazing game. I in no way hate or am against anything that has been done (with some reservations), but at the same time am human, and demand more of my product for my money, and time.
That opening statement leads me into my next series of questions and rants. And somewhat uneducated opinions. Remember before you flame that I have not taken 2 hours of my time to do research on whether or not these opinions/suggestions/compliaints/gripes have already been addressed or will be, I had more important things to do, like making dinner for my children and working.
Firstly and foremost:
1) WTF is Mojang doing with our money? Seriously.
I don't mean that in a negative way. Hell if I made Minecraft and was an overnight multi-millionare (in theory), I don't know what I would do with myself. Probably drink myself to death. But honestly from a consumer standpoint I would be making Minecraft 2. ITS OWN FREAKING ENGINE. Or, a tested engine. I mean, I'm not expecting Unreal or CoD X here, just, cmon, JAVA?! Are you kidding me? How many of you have had "A JAVA EXCEPTION HAS OCCURED!" or some crappy popup ruin your Minecraft? Even when you aren't playing it!? Get your ow engine Mojang!
2) Updates
I get it. I am not a computer programmer. I don't know what is required for an update. Maybe it requires 100 people, and 1,000 hours of work a peice to make an update. I don't know. But, at the same time, what isup with these upates? Kitties? Jungles? Carrots? Okay, great, I get that you have a team that is small, independent, but c'mon? That's all you got? With like 4-6 months in-between time? Give me something, please, this isn't enough for me as a consumer.
3) Performance [MAY LOOP BACK TO #1]
Listen, seriously, honestly, c'mon. I have a $2,400 computer system, purchased ~1 year ago. I can run Skyrim, CoD: BOII, xxxxx <--- insert game @ 15,528,208 FPS. But I can't run your game without a FPS drop? I install one measly 64x64 texture pac and I drop to 14 FPS? What gies? Seriously. 2 Grand on my end, roughly 1 month of sweat and blood and I can't run your indie game at a moderate level. What's the deal here? We are talking 16x16 shaders and such? Is this because of JAVA? Get your own engine, or something, hell IDK. Something, CMON!
4) Mod Support
I don't know what I am expecting here, but, seriously. 1.4.x release! CARROTS! WITHERS! WITCHES! BEACONS! ETC.! Okay I get it, I have to reinstall addons, but, 8 days later, 1.4.x1! OMFG! My stuff doesn't work anymore! Thank god I get to mod my ENTIRE FREAKING GAME AGAIN, DUE TO A STUPID UPDATE THAT I DIDN'T HAVE ANY ISSUE WITH TO BEGIN WITH. THANK YOU MOJANG. ANOTHER HOUR OF MESSING AROUND IN FILES JUST TO MAKE YOUR GAME WORK. You guys rock! (Insert SARC)
5) Multiplayer Support
Dude, Okay I'm beating a dead horse here, But like, Cmon. SSP is great, but everyone plays this for SMP. Where is the BROWSER for this kind of stuff? Even if you nix all the prior recommendations and just have this sort of thing, with mods downloadable and just, BAM, you are in the game, WTF!? Is it that hard? Example:
Dorky McDork's Awesome SMP Non-Violent Server 10/10 ---- 4/10 Reviews
Stupid McDouche's SMP PvP Raid/Grief Server 17/204 --- 27/37 Reviews
I mean, cmon, is it really that hard? You join, download, play, get on with your life. Even if you kept like a top 100 list, or SOMETHING. Christ.
YOU ALL MAY THINK I AM COMPLAINING AND NOT ENJOYING. True, true. But at the same time, These guys have made like, what, 500 Million dollars off of us/you/me? WTF are you doing? I'm not asking for a communistic type franchise here, just a playable game where I din't have to pull my eyeballs out every update, while waiting for updates, or while even trying to just play with friends.
Sorry I'm not into coding 1,248,250,508 lines of code just to get a stable version of this thing to host 3 friends.
IT CANT BE THAT HARD!
***note, I have no coding experience, no I dont have any type of experience other than being a consumer, but what I do have experience with is being a consumer, which is A) Taking my money, profiting, and then improving your product, in a timely manner, and getting me to spend more money, to buy C) your next product.
1. I find java annoying too. The engine is practically DESIGNED to lag. Adobe can be more flexible. I mean, look at terraria! Aside from being 2D, it barely lags for anyone, even with its intense map height, and the fact that an entire world is loaded and rendered all at once, without having to again.
2. Updates can take different amounts of time for different people. Good, flexible coders that know their stuff will get an update for a game out in about a month or so, if it's a simple bug fix update with some new things.
3. Performance varies greatly. There's always the people with the fancy @$$ computers that get over 1000 FPS, while people like us get 30 or 50. I've even found someone whining about getting 100 instead of 200.
4. The mod API has been promised since way back into beta. People said it would be in 1.0. 'Oh, it wasn't! Let's just wait'. They said it would be in 1.3. 'Oh, it wasn't! I'm sure we'll get it in 1.4'. And you know what happened in 1.4? NO API. I know how hard it can be for people to make such a thing, but it can be as simple as copying a bit of Risugami's modloader and forge (With permission and help, of course) and bang! Done. Though, yeah, it is seemingly impossibru to make an integrated modloader.
5. Multiplayer is laggy and annoying. It would be great if we had a big server list like TF2 does. That would be absolutely amazing.
Now, overall? A company making multiple games at once is expected to have time to work on each game respectively, so yeah, they can't focus on minecraft the whole time, even though it got them famous in the first place.
