    And yes there are a lot of dimension mods, but these are DWARVES. They deserve an entire dimension to themselves. One filled with loads of iron ore, dense forests, rolling peaks and everything else you need for steel. <3




    And a rare gemstone, that once found summons another ender dragon.

    Whenever we try to craft an item, the product moves to our inventory briefly, then disappears and the raw materials appear back in crafting interface. I've tried to craft Iron ingots > Iron nuggets and Wood Planks > Scribing Table.

    Is the same version of thaumcraft on both clients, and the server, and do you all have matching config files?

    Vis-Tweaks and Research:
    O Wand Pedestral of Exchange:
    So you need 75 points of each type of vis for your new silverwand-core. You have about 100, but distributed among 4 staffs. A way to exchange contained vis would be amazing, like a main pedestral that gains the vis, and some minor pedestrals that give the vis of the contained staff away. (So, if you place staffs that can recreate their primary vis, eg a blaze wand, you could use them as slow, but infinite source of vis, but its still expensive to create each staff, and the maximum stored vis would be about 7 for those core. I think this would be balanced)

    O Maybe also Vis-Batterys?

    O A Vis Filter. For example, if you have a staff you use for construction in the arcane workbench, and one staff you use for battle with some foci, it would be nice to define wich type of vis you want to suck out of the first staff to give it the second. A lightning focus wand only needs air


    O A Essentia-Research Point convertor. To balance it, it would have a high exchange rate, like 10 essentia earth = 1 research point of earth. I would make it like a furnance, that has a high chance to spawn liquid or gas taint around it. You change the nature of a magical thing, of course this is dangerous...!

    Taint-Related:
    O Golem Core-Taint Buster
    As above methods of aquiring research points are quite taint heavy, you should have a golem (maybe upgraded from alchemical or decanting golem) that collects the taint around it and puts it into a tank (Would also need a thaumcraft tank, if buildcraft etc. is not installed). This would also be usefull for your Infusion Processes that do not go to well, or Alembic-fails. Maybe, equipped with an purifying bloom they can also slowly clean tainted lands?

    O Taint-Compressor. Gathered a lot of taint, you could use it to compress it with another device to form a stable item. Maybe a process that uses some of the Vinculum essentia (the trap one) to compress them into shards!

    O Taint-shard / Focci. The stored taint obtained by above means could be used for something else. maybe for some nice foccis, that can corrupt A node? at the high cost of vis, you could taint a node, that corrupts the land of your buddy, that missled you with his ICBM (I think this would be balanced. He can find the center of the node and destroy it like any other node. But if he reacts not quick enough, it is great fun to see him deal with Taintacles)

    O Taint-Master Helmet. As long as you wear this Helmeth, Taint-creations will not attack you. Maybe they also ally with you? But you will have a high chance to get a taint-effect, like walking on tainted lands.

    O Tainted Ingots: The next step to controll taint is by using it for tools. They can be created by corrupting the magic in Thaumium Ingots. The material is quite strong, and filled with some nasty effects (Taint-Weapons inflict Taint-effects, spawn taint slimes from fallen foes, etc... Tainted tools are really fast, but have a chance of not giving items) but due to the unstable nature of taint, it will slowly degenerate until it breaks. (maybe, if you kill entitys, it will replenish some of its durability? OR it will start consuming your live to replenish?)

    The Private-Dimension
    O Portable Dimension: By some means you can capture a whole dimension inside a jar, that you can carry arround, place it and acces via rigt-click or something like that. Its a verry small dimension, spawning only with a small, floating island, but you are free to expand it. Carry your own home with you and enter whenever you want! (Maybe also options to teleport others with you or give them permissions... you know what i mean. It stores the Position where you teleported, and brings you right back if you leave the dimension)

    Maybe, the jar can be upgraded and altered by some infusions? Like =
    o Light Essentia: Your dimension is constant lit (Not dark as by default)
    o Light and Dark essentia: You have a day-night circle
    o Tempestas: (Wether) essentia: By different combinations with other essentias you can set the wether to rain (water essentia) snow (gelum) or change randomly (Maybe some of this is needed for crops to grow?)
    o (Bestia): Animals spawn in your dimension (Some way would be needed to choose the biome)
    o Taint: Not a verry bright idea, but maybe if you implement the taint-things above, you could use it to farm taint?
    o Sano: Your Dimension gives you a regeneration-effect while you visit it
    o Motus: You are faster in your dimension
    o Voliatus: You can fly in your Dimension
    o Tutamen: You do not take damage in your Dimension
    o Victus/Mortus: If you die, you will be respawned in your dimension (Enables you to slep in a bed in this dimension, rather than blowing them up)
    o Fames: No more hunger in your dimension?
    o etc... (You got the Idea i think)

    I know i know. It would kill a server to have about 20 custom dimensions in addition. But this could be solved by making only one dimension, with specified areas, that are seperated via a block that is as hard as bedrock, damages players touching it, and have the same texture as the sky. Each player teleports to his own "area". Of course it would be difficult for some of the improved versions (day night circle, if one wants to have one, the other one wants constant light) but maybe you can think of something?

    Miscellanious:
    o A Scuba helmet: Like the thaumostatic harness, only it needs air-essentia. If worn and supplied with air, you can breath underwater

    o Some Structure to Teleport. Using some Iter-Essentia, you can teleport from one way to another. Like Magic mirrows, only for entitys?

    o The Golem-Mine Core. Give him a tool, and he will mine inside the Area he is. Once the Tool breaks (Or Thaumic-repair tools that have 1 durability left) he will go back to his Chest and take another one. Strenght Cores improve mining speed, Sense cores the Area, Fire Cores auto-smelt items, Preditio is self defence as always, Air is speed and Smart Cores let you define wich ores he should seek out? Or enalbe him to do smart mining, like strip mining etc...)

    I know, I know there is the Arcane Bore, but i would like to have a golem that does this task

    What do you think about those Ideas? Is even some of it possible for a mod? Balancing? Or am i just crazy?


    And i do honestly appologize for bad grammer or translation. English is not my mother tounge, but i try my best ;)


    Both thaumic exploration and forbidden magic have some plans for taint. Advanced Thaumaturgy does have a node modifier that alllows you to modify nodes.
    I LOVE the wand pedestal of exchange.

    are the blocks normal blocks, and not tile entities?
    do you have the research, and not a borrowed focus?
    if all of these are yes, i would assume its a MCPC+ bug

    Enchantments are avaliable through NEI, and while the items you cannot blacklist, you can blacklist spell components. All spells are now modular, and user made, so blacklisting the components that cause problems would stops users from learning those components, and making spells with them. Keep in mind that blacklisting things may make it hard for players to progress in am2 without cheats like /setmagiclevel or /giveskillpoints.

    The table's function to access a nearby inventory allows it to bypass some chest locking/ security plugins.
    I do not know if it works with TE3 strongboxes.

    You wouldent need to disable crafting recipies, just am2 worldgen. immediate gatestop

    The server and client have the SAME config file, they are 100% the same.

    Block ID conflict, change one of the id's in the config file.
    Also, as this is a modpack crash, its usually a good idea to report it to the team who made the pack.

    You can configure the allowed spell components, and also global am2 damage in the config file.
