To be clear, are you talking about this:

Yup indeed, a picture tells a thousand words. But I guess the filter would need to be able to handle x,y and z coordinates.

Also, I've been thinking more, I know there are some filters out there like inHaze's circles one and one that Sethbling did that let you rotate objects laterally by increments other than the standard 90 degrees in MC Edit, but are there any out there that let you tilt/pivot objects like you can in 3d imaging programs along all 3 axes? I'm making some organic models, and I'd like to be able to make copies, and tilt/rotate them accordingly to fit the scene. I know I could export the model to Blender or whatever, then move it around, but then I'd need to recolor/retexture it after importing it back in with Binvox.

If it is helpful - this filter draws arcs in the X plane based on the selection box height.. You could flip the arc for suspended ropes: http://www.planetmin...-selection-box/

That would help yes, thanks. I assume it would only from one point to another laterally though if you know what I mean, and couldn't do a curve between to lateral points with a vertical variation too?

I'm after a filter which is similar to the great "connect 2 points" filter, but something a bit adapted, I'll try to explain.

Instead of drawing a straight line, I'd like the line to be more like a rope bridge, in a curve, which you can control with parameters indicating the weight of the line.

    Hope that makes sense

    Thanks

posted a message on Feed The Beast MindCrack v8 Server, Whitelist, Hosted, 24/7, 18+ Only, Looking for Mature Players
It's not really clear from your original post whether your server issues have sorted themselves out now, and if you still have slots, but I'm going to give it a shot anyway. I'm looking for a new world to make myself at home on.

    Minecraft Username: Wooraah
    Age: 36
Are you experienced with Feed the Beast and/or Minecraft: Played a lot back in beta, then hadn't really been back to the game for 18 months or so until I stumbled across some FTB vids on youtube a couple of weeks back, which got me interested again. I've been immersing myself with them since then, and I have to admit, I'm hooked.
Are you mature: I like a good joke around, but I'd say so yeah. It's a bit late by now if I'm not.
Why should you be accepted: I'm a laid back creative type, you can see some of my previous work at http://www.planetminecraft.com/member/wooraah. I'm currently a bit of a lost soul minecraft wise, I've been enjoying single player, but I want to share the experience with some buddies and get back into the social side. If I'm accepted and I enjoy the server, you'll see me online a lot, FTB offers so many new exciting project opportunities, and I'm keen to get stuck in.
Favorite Movie: Bladerunner or City of God.
Which server rule (of ours) makes the most sense to you: Well 1 makes the most sense, but they're all good rules to stick by, and 4 is important to me, as I spend a lot of time on my builds.

    Name: Owen
    In game name: Wooraah

Why you would like to join my server: (make this bit interesting, its how I will judge most applications ) I've spent the last 2 hours looking through adverts for FTB servers having recently become addicted, and this is the first post that I even considered applying to. I'm looking for a genuinely mature server that is EU based and fairly stable, with a small community that I can get to know. The quality (and age) of the applicants above was encouraging, and I like what I see from LadyLexyxox's post above.
How often do you play: Likely 4-10 hours a day.
Have you ever been banned before: (this can be checked) Nope
Other stuff: I've taken a long break from Minecraft, previously quit back in around May 2011 to play other games, but I played a lot back then. I'm still catching up on the vanilla stuff from pistons beyond. I haven't played survival for even longer than that, focussing more on creative stuff, (see , http://www.planetmin...member/wooraah/) but I'm loving the opportunities for new gameplay styles and new experiences that FTB offers, but Single Player gets old after a while, I'd like some buddies to share the experience with.

Just a quick post to say sorry for being so hard to get hold of to get permissions I've been kind of away-from-game for a good while.

Glad to see someone has taken up the mantle of Woocraft. Permission hereby granted (belatedly).

Good luck with the pack and continuation.

It was to my understanding that a map of your world would be inculded? That's what a sign in the beginning of Tatsuyuma (correct me if I spelled that wrong) said.

The map is available to download separately here:

I guess I have to be a nit-picker here. I mean honestly can't fathom how much effort was put into this. But there are still things that I would have fixed if I were the author, and in hopes of making this map even better, I shall point them out.

As I walked through the map, I've seen some minor errors (besides the cultural ones). It seems to me that there are often random missing blocks inside the buildings, on the walls and the floors. Also, I've run into several flights of stairs that can't be climbed due to insufficient head-room. These are all simple one-block fixes so it hardly bothered me.

    As for the cultural part...

First thing I noticed was the paifang, aka "Chinese gate". These are never intended to be functional gates, so the doors looked totally out of place.

The second was the torii in front of the Japanese castle. Torii is a part of Shinto shrines and has nothing to do with castles.

Despite these mistakes, this map is still one of the most epic ones I've seen. You deserve a full chest of diamonds. :Diamond:

Thanks for the constructive feedback bwansy, nit-picking is always good, nice ideas for further developments too. I have learnt something new today, 2 things in fact :biggrin.gif: I'm not a particular expert on Chinese or Japanese history, more just an admirer of the architecture, so these things are good to know.

Could you please advise where the messed up stairs were? I've tried to fix most issues like that, but I did almost all building with fly mode on, so it's hard to spot some.

Holy crap, I cant actually get over how awesome this map is. Everything is put together beautifully and the detail is amazing. I think I might be glued to my computer the next few days as I continue exploring everything.

This really deserves a permanent spot on the main page.

Thanks very much. Yes things move fast on this forum, it can get a bit lost in the flurry of posts. Glad you enjoyed it.
