    It is a bit confusing that they're named planks when they in fact are logs, but nontheless, this works:


    thaumcraft.assets.thaumcraft.models.block.greatwood_plank

    thaumcraft.assets.thaumcraft.models.block.silverwood_plank


    Taint logs and taint geysirs seem to be a bit more elusive, but if/when I manage to add them to the whitelist I'll let you know :)


    While I'm at it, does anyone know how to add vanilla Minecraft blocks to the log whitelist? I'd like to add giant mushroom stems, hay bales and quartz pillars.


    Guess I should've updated my situation: with the latest version, Thaumcraft's Silverwood and Greatwood logs work as intended. Only had the problem of the corners of blocks underneath the logs being kinda dark without Smooth Lighting. Nothing that putting it to Minimum didn't solve

    For some reason, it isn't working with Thaumcraft's trees. Their logs are still quite cubic, though the leaves work.

    Do you have any other pedestals around your house that you're using for decoration? If so then it might be too close to the altar and cause the recipe to be invalid. Another issue could be with the type of altar or upgrades your using. It's possible the cost has increased and you don't have enough essentia.

    Nah, there were no other pedestals around other than the ones for the Infusion. Also, I ended up checking the github page for the reported bugs, and lo and behold, seems like it's a bug someone else also reported. Neither the Goggles nor the faceplates can be applied to the helm by Infusion Crafting for some reason.

    I've been playing for a while with this version of the mod, and now I have a slight bug to report:


    I have already discovered the research for Thaumium Fortress Armor and for applying the Goggles of Revealing to the helm. However, I've worked my butt off gathering Auram for that thing, have all the aspects needed (16 Auram, 16 Praemunio and more than 32 Sensus) and all items in the pedestals.     With the quantity of Baubles that mods like Botania and Thaumcraft add, I was wondering:

    "Man, I wish I could carry various Baubles with me and still get all of their effects."

    Then I remembered about an item in one of the Legend of Zelda games, namely in the Oracle series, that would be able to do what I wanted.


    To give you a little of backstory, in the Oracle games, you could have rings with you that would affect your damage dealt/taken, drops and such. All of those rings were carried in a Ring Box that, as you'd progress in the story, would get upgraded. Though you could only get the effects of one of them at a time.


    Say you had equipped a Vis Amulet, an Angel Ring, a Ring of Perditio and a Sojourner's Sash, but you want the Runic Protection items from Thaumcraft to give you their effect. Enter the Box of Baubles. You could place the items of Runic Protection inside and watch yourself get their effects while you can run and fly indefinitely.



    This is my mockup of the item's sprite. It would work as a portable inventory just for Baubles, and while those were in the Box inside your inventory, you'd get all their effects. Though to make it fair, you wouldn't be able to place it duplicates of an item (to avoid something like storing 20 rings that decrease a certain Thaumcraft aspect's consumption and, essentially, never consume said aspect from the wand).

    Found a little problem with the chest pets: they only consume Oak Wood Logs (in-game ID is minecraft:log) and none of the others (ex.: Acacia is minecraft:log2). Maybe put their food with the OreDict ID of logWood so it works with all logs, BoP, Natura and the sorts.

    Other than that, I've added this mod to my personal private pack and it works wonderfully, especially OreDictionary'd with TiC.

    I've had one of these situations today. I was in a cave, mining and minding my own business and a zombie comes out. I hit him once, 2 zombies appear. Next thing I know, I have 12 zombies beating the everliving shizz out of me, and I'm dead. I've now decided to delete that world, make a new one and make my new house like a bunker, piston door and everything. I thought the update was bad before this, now I think it's INSANE.

    You can try connecting a clock to TFlip-Flop. It should recieve a pulse, turn on for those 15 seconds, recieve another pulse and turn off for the same period of time. In theory.
    I don't know if any other redstoners can explain in a better way and even give examples. Don't just take my word on this, you're probably better off waiting for more comments.

    I've only tried this mod today, seemed like a good one, but one thing is VERY wrong.
    Structure spawning. I don't know if it could be a problem from running this mod along with Biomes O' Plenty, but I've had a structure spawn right over an NPC villager's house, completely destroying it only to leave a facade, or worse, a straight vertical block of dirt ith a structure on top floating one block over the ground level like it's some kind of chunk error. If there's one thing that bugs me, it's this. If anyone's had the same or similar results as in this image or this one while running Biomes O' Plenty, please say. If not, I think the structure spawning methods should probably be looked into. Not trying to sound rage-y ith this post, but I just wish the author takes a look at this.

    The error still happens when I try using the Craft Pad as if it would be a Workbench.
    I placed 3 Cobblestone on the lower row to make Slabs, and tried taking out the result, as I would in a Workbench, and the error happened with this log: https://www.dropbox....0.34-client.txt
    I'm using a bunch of other mods, but I don't know if those are conflicting at all and creating this error or it's just me doing something in the mod that I shouldn't be doing.

    First of all, this is a great mod.
    Second, easily to reproduce bug:
    - When crafting on the Craft Pad, if I try to craft something without a chip on slot (normal crafting), Minecraft crashes with a "Shutting down internal server" message before showing the error report.
