Kill everything. With my bare hands. And then probably make a fish aquarium full of horrible vicious fish, which will be fed pigs and creepers. If it's possible, of course.
My current file is only halfway decent, with only a small farm, small house, 3 diamonds, and a treehouse. The only thing I'd have as a good advantage is the amount of trees around my base, having tons of dirt to make paths across lava, and other things.
However, it's the best I have been able to do on a save file, so I am keeping it.
Really awesome and I hope Notch adds it or something close to it. With respect to toughness - I think it should be a 'raid' mob. Requiring 4-5 people in SMP to defeat. It should not be killable by a single player.

Yea, if it requires a lot of people to take down, so be it. Dragons are not to be trifled with unless you're prepared to suffer the consequences.
And it'd make killing it solo that much more impressive (and fighting it solo that much more insane)
Anyway, cool model, maybe it'd be able to pick you up into the air and attack you while you're being held by it? It'd really make people cautious when trying to fight a dragon. To be fair, it'd not drop you onto the ground when high enough to kill you from the fall damage (unless you're on Hard)
I continue what I was doing outside of my base, or lack thereof. Except I punch/cut/arrow mobs that want to kill me at the same time, and use torches for light.
My preferred place to start at is an area where there is water nearby, a cave to explore, and at a high point of the nearby area. I usually get a wooden pickaxe, get stone until it breaks, then get as much wood as possible using a stone axe, then go to my chosen location to build and build a small 3 block tall wall and put a door in. Then I spend any time I have left looking for coal to mine after the first night.

Maybe if it's made of smooth stone instead of cobblestone? Smooth stone is harder to get than cobblestone, but easier to get than iron.
