Hey guys, I've ran a few vanilla servers before and needless to say, I love them. I miss running a server and having an awesome online community of friends, and I'd like to bring that back.
This post is basically a help wanted for players, staff, etc. I want everyone! I'm a bit poor at the moment, so if it actually were to gain traction, I could split the cost(s) of a host. Let me know if you're interested, because I'd love to talk with you.

I'm not like those extreme gamers out there that play Minecraft all day, I actually can control my gaming time and I schedule when I play so I can even out my schedule with sports and games. Sometimes, I don't feel like playing games at all and would rather go outside and do something like sledding, shovelling my driveway, etc. So basically what I'm saying is, I am an athlete and a gamer at the same time with a balanced playing schedule. I do many things like karate, going to to gym, etc. I weight lift a lot and exercise so I can keep in shape One of my favourite sports are basketball and swimming. Basketball is such an intense sport, it makes me want to play it more and I sometimes get goosebumps from playing because it's so intense :)Swimming I enjoy a lot because it calms me down a lot and I have been swimming a lot when I was a kid. I like many different types of gaming like FPS, Role Playing, etc. My favourite FPS game is obviously COD Black Ops 2. I would like to join this server to learn all the aspects of Minecraft and to meet and play with all the members. My name is Trey Hamilton, I am 19 years old, and I LOVE Minecraft. I started back in the Alpha days and have been crafting ever since! I am also a HUGE "Mindcrack" fan myself, and would love to join the server. I never really liked the BIG Servers since they are always filled with little kids mindlessly running around griefing and spamming. I feel like this server is a GREAT way to escape all the rowdiness and kick back and play with some NEW friends. [center]Additional details: I do referee hockey some weekends so my time fluctuates there. Formerly owning a small server helps me so that I know what to do when someone is being rude/breaking the rules.
About yourself: When I'm not at school I spend most of my time at home, I don't get out much except when I'm working (I have a job at a laser tag arena) My favourite video games are Civilisation V, minecraft, Skyrim, and Hitman: Absolution

What can you contribute, as well as yourself: Erm... I can make a pretty neat obsidian generator, though that's probably classed as an exploit. I'm generally a helpful person that knows a lot about the game, so I can offer good advice and stuff if I'm not allowed to turn redstone into obsidian.
Favorite part of Minecraft: Exploring underground and finding diamonds
Favorite server: I haven't got a particular favourite, I'd say JS server WAS my favourite (I admined it) but then the owner mysteriously dissapeared and the server never updated after the mc 'official release'
Screenshot/link to something you've made: I delete my screenshots, as I discovered that they get loaded into the game from your screenshot folder, so you gain a couple of fps from not having any. I take any fps I can get, my comps not the best.

Hey guys, I've ran a few vanilla servers before and needless to say, I love them. I miss running a server and having an awesome online community of friends, and I'd like to bring that back.

What are you looking for in a Minecraft SMP server?: I love vanilla. I actually ran one a little while back. I love the simplicity, and the pureness of classic Minecraft.
