So good to have you back Vattic.

Would be posting on my "AntVenom" name, but it's locked from inactivity during the forums ownership transfer. 😅

Haha that's a mood. Took some work to get my account back.

In 2010 I started the Faithful texture pack as a labour of love. With help from the community I worked on it for many years. Towards the end, my personal situation halted development, and in 2016 I logged out for the last time; Withdrawing from the community. The longer I stayed away the harder it was to return. Recently community members reached out to me and I learned what has happened in my absence. The pack has been stolen and sold without my consent by someone called xMrVizzy/kraineff.

This kraineff has falsely claimed I gave him sole ownership of the pack. As proof he offers a screenshot of a faked conversation. The utterances he puts in my mouth aren't even the words of a native English speaker. I have never knowingly spoken with him, nor had I heard his name before this last year.

    Faked conversation

Thankfully this isn't all that happened since I was gone. There are a number of quality projects carrying the Faithful torch. I want to mention and explicitly give permission where it is necessary.

    • Compliance is more of a spiritual successor to Faithful. It has its own style and all original textures.
    • Emulated Vattic Textures, as the name implies, focuses on maintaining the original Faithful style and retains many of the original textures.
    • FaithfulVenom is one of the oldest still updated versions of the pack which still has my permission from way back when.

There are more besides FaithfulVenom which got my permission in the past. Various adventure map makers and the like. These permissions still stand. My apologies if I have missed you.

    Many thanks <3
