fixed my problem.. apparently file-roller based archive managers did not inject mod_ZanMinimap.class correctly.
Therefore, change the method of putting mods into minecraft.jar solves the problem.

maybe im just crazy, or im seriously mentally challenged...
but...i downloaded the latest modloader(just checked, it is the latest version), and the lastest minimap mod(yup, latest too), and put them into minecraft.jar, deleted metainf...using the new launcher, create new world...boom...wait..what? theres no minimap..T.T
as usual, i started minecraft in terminal, but no error message popped up. Upon investigation, i find NO zan.settings and colours.txt files in .minecraft folder.
Are there anything i can do?
system: ubuntu 11.04

I did search the forum, went into countless threads, but only seen this question been asked, but not replied.
I hope this is the right place to ask for a merge of mods

Could someone please merge the zan's mods, single place commands, 303's grappling hook and arrow, Minecraft Advanced - Full Package, and SDK's mods?
