    Basic Map Information

Super Ladder Battle Royal is an awesome new game, loosely inspired by the old mini-game "King of the Ladder"! To win, you simply must be the last player standing on the arena by climbing up and knocking your friends down! Find item boxes while traversing up the map to get an upper hand over everyone else!

Discover hilarious tricks and strategies to avoid being the next to plummet off of the quickly crumbling game arena! Have a blast using a plethora of custom items to hinder your foes! In this free for all game of skill, strategy and luck, nothing is against the rules, so find at least 1 friend and have a ball playing this, Super Ladder Battle Royal!

    Game-play

Super Ladder Battle Royal is mainly a PVP and Parkour game. It is built for 1.11. The main objective of the map is to jump, climb and scramble up, all the way to the top of a hugely tall arena, and stay up for longer than your opponents, while they try to do the same. After a minute, the arena will begin to crumble from the bottom up, so staying higher than your opponents is crucial! On your way up, you will find item boxes holding randomly generation items which will help you or harm your opponents! Use these items intelligently and creatively to be the last player standing on the area and win! The further up the arena you get, the more likely it is you will find better item boxes. Item boxes are colour coded to show their tier (in rainbow order) from red, being tier 1, to pink, being tier 7.

    Special Map Features

This map features many special things to make your gameplay experience even more wacky and exciting! From fancy trails to a MASSIVE collection of hats, to 6 inter-mixable game modifiers and a collection of custom items, no 2 games will ever feel the same!

    The map has 6 arenas:

    • Classic Map
    • Snowflake Skies
    • A Sticky Situation
    • Tree of LiberTree
    • The Cave
    • Nether Again

It also has 6 game modifiers. These can be mixed together to make truly crazy games:

    • Insane Item Mode - Item Boxes will more likely to be a higher tier, so items will be more powerful!
    • TNT Rain Mode - Makes TNT rain from the sky to blow up the arena from above!
    • Nausea Mode - Every player is given the nausea potion effect to make it difficult to see where you're going!
    • Super Jump Mode - All players are given a CRAZY level of jump boost!
    • Panic Mode - The arena will start crumbling after 15 seconds instead of after a minute!
    • Low Lag Mode - Reduces lag for players with less powerful computers by removing the effect of the blocks breaking when the arena is crumbling. Also makes the arena crumble silently, so it might sneak up on you!

And don't forget the custom items! These will really spice up the game!

    • Fireball - Place down a fireball which you can punch towards your opponents!
    • Cat Ball - Throw cat balls at enemies to nudge them off of ladders!
    • Grenade - Grenades will explode on impact when they are thrown! A very powerful weapon!
    • Flying Squid Bombs - These float upwards for a few seconds, and then explode to knock down people above you!
    • Bat Bomb - Spawns a bat which flies around for a few seconds, then explodes!
    • Random Bomb - Randomly explodes any player... instantly! Be careful with these; they could choose you!

    Important Info:

This map requires at least 2 players to play, but the more you can bring in, the more fun it'll be! This map should be played on a 1.11 VANILLA server without any mods or plugins. If you would like to record this game and share it on the internet, please be sure to give me credit and link this page! If you don't, I'll send some angry elves round to your house in the middle of the night to steal all of your kitchen appliances.

I'm about 99% sure this is impossible, for the simple reason that we can't store "variables" which can then be used inside data tags

posted a message on Make mobs simply disappear when they die?

I've done some experimenting, and the best way I can think of is to increase the mob's health by 100 hearts or so, then, when it loses a certain amount of health, e.g. 20 health for a villager, teleport it into the void.

one criticism i would give to this is that you definitely dont talk enough. if you're struggling to talk, then either cut out the parts where you're not talking, or join a voice chat with other people so they can fill in for when you're not talking

posted a message on All For None Season 3 (Minecraft Game Show)

All For None is an interesting Minecraft game show with a twist; instead of players competing against each other, they're competing with each other to keep their lives counter up. They must complete 6 group challenges together and hopefully not mess up and lose it all. But it's never that simple. One of the eight competing players is a traitor, a saboteur whose identity is a secret, who is working against the team and trying to make them lose their lives. Who is smart enough to work out the identity of the traitor and take them down? Who won't be as observant and fall victim to the traitor? In fact, who is the traitor? Well, I guess you'll just have to watch to work it out...

posted a message on 4 Corners - a minigame by UniqueImpact!

Hello my friends, and welcome to 4 corners, a psychological game of chance where you must attempt to outwit your opponents to get the best score! It's also a very ridiculous game which is bound to give you a good laugh and have you and your friends wanting to come back for more!

The game is simple. One person is the death, and everyone else is a runner. Each round, the runners must each choose one of four coloured platforms. The death also picks a colour. If the death picks a different colour from you, you're safe, but if you chose the same colour as the death, you're gonna have a bad time!

    BONUS FEATURES
As well as the main game, 4 corners comes with a plethora of extra goodies! There are 7 hats and 6 trails to choose from, as well as settings to change the speed of the game to fit your play-style. Other than a couple other settings, 4 Corners features 'toys'. These are special items which you can use to mess with other players, or otherwise make the game that extra bit more ridiculous. Examples of these toys are snowballs which meow when you throw them and squids which float up into the air!

that's definitely made things feel a little smoother in the bits leading up to the error, but it doesnt seem to actually fix anything :S
it must be an issue with the repeat somehow

oh. xD. turns out im not the best reasearcher.

just gonna throw this into the possibility pool, though:

if the command block is high up, the paste area may go above the build limit, that'd also break the command.

oh, and if this is being executed from a command block, make sure command blocks are enabled.

this would've been a lot easier if we were told what the error is...

I think your playsound command could cause the lag. It is recommended that you set stream:true for sounds longer than a few seconds. http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Sounds.json

im not really that great with the sounds.json file. this is what it currently looks like, if you could demonstrate to me how to add the stream:true thing, i would be greatful. :D

posted a message on "Cannot place blocks outside of the world" Help

if your intention is to build barriers your players are not allowed to escape from, consider setting up command blocks which test if players in creative are outside of a certain area, and if they are, teleport them back in?

posted a message on How do I open a menu?

the best thing i can think of is having a kit selection chest. have the chest constantly refilling itself using the /replaceitem command, and when players pull an item out of the chest, it detects that it's in their inventory, clears it from them and then gives the the appropriate stuff.

you definitely cant do it like they do on servers though, they use plugins, not command blocks
