    I think pages 8-12 or so are what you seek. Currently, you can change the Y range inside which a given ore will spawn, and you can tweak the minimum Y value above which a given ore will spawn. You can also change the number of ore blobs the game attempts to add per-Chunk as well as the maximum number of ore blocks the game will try to put in a blob. :)

    That's correct, though if there are enough people interested in running Biosphere and Wedge together, I might be able to put together a fork of my own code that works alongside Biosphere rather than clobbering it. I've talked to Risu, and he seems amenable to the idea of adding a proper hook for adding world types to ModLoader, though obviously there's no ETA on that. :)

    Absolutely! Wedge was just something that I felt like throwing together this weekend. I updated my local source tree for Kataminey to 1.0.0 and did a bunch of optimizations, but it was right on the verge of 1.1 so I didn't release it. I'm probably going to update both Kataminey and MADS sometime this week and do an all-in-one release consisting of Wedge, Kataminey and MADS all together, but don't hold me to that time frame! :)

    Bat Country Entertainment is an indie dev house in Albany, NY, formed by industry veterans and containing over 50 years of combined industry experience. Everyone here is a fan of Minecraft, and we're behind such mods as MADS, Kataminey Damacraft, and CCTV, and our lead engineer (myself) recently had a technical e-mail posted by Notch on his blog.

    We've decided to start up a public Minecraft server just for fun. We don't have a lot of experience running a server, so we're not really sure what people want or what people are interested in, so just stop by and start building! The world is brand new at the moment other than a hotel - claim a room and start having fun!

    Try re-installing Minecraft and all your mods, but when installing Kataminey, don't copy i.class into minecraft.jar. There's a bug in Mojang's rendering code in 1.8 that causes the far-away fog to flicker uncontrollably in any mods that make the camera point at anything other than the player. My i.class contains a fix for it, but since it's rendering code, that makes it incompatible with almost every other mode, so omitting my i.class will cause the fog to flicker, but it should at least run.

    I cannot apologize enough for the repeated failed fixes, it comes down to Java not differentiating between a VRAM out-of-memory and a RAM out-of-memory. In any case, I've knuckled down and brought the VRAM usage to around 42 megs from over 512, so virtually everybody who has been having out-of-memory crashes should be able to run the game with this version:

    I can't confirm any of these crashes with the code I'm currently working with. I've tried running it from the command line, I've tried running it from the client, and I've loaded into four worlds in a row, during the same run, without any kind of memory issue.

    With that in mind, I've rolled up (ha) a new build, v0.52, which will hopefully put to rest the memory issues. If not, well, I'm not quite sure yet how to go about fixing that which I can't reproduce.

    The CustomContactCallback.class is definitely in my minecraft.jar. I have re-downloaded your zip and tried it with a fresh jar a couple of times with the same error.

    I don't think I have done anything wrong:
    1. Delete the META-INF folder
    2. Copy all contents of Risugami's modloader 1.7.2 zip into the root level of my Minecraft.jar
    3. Copy all of the contents of your 172 zip into the root level of my Minecraft.jar

    EDIT: From what I can divulge, modloader is looking for 'ContactAddedCallback' in the com/bulletphysics folder, not 'CustomContactCallback'. I know nothing about Java development however, so this is a very unreliable observation :tongue.gif:


    Interesting issue - is there a "com" folder in your minecraft.jar, is there a "bulletphysics" directory inside of it, and is there a ContactAddedCallback.class file inside of that? After conferring with a couple of engineers, we're tempted to wonder if it might be a Linux-specific issue, but since it's Java, there shouldn't be any issues like that.
