that's pretty damn cool, I myself am a star trek fan and I love it!

now if only you could make a bigger one lol.

You can! It can go up to 128x128x128 blocks but you eventually run into problems like having a giant ME network just to support the pylons and It would require an exorbitant amount of power. Other than that, the code and everything else will stay the same. My friend and I are planning on making a permanent base inside of a storage cell (as in, activate once then remove the pylons, TP in/out as needed) for a PvP server.

I made the Holodeck using the Direwolf20 FTB modpack, but it only requires ComputerCraft and Applied Energistics 2. However, more features can be added with Wireless Redstone, Carpenter's Blocks, and more.

The GUI is designed to look like one out of Star Trek: The Next Generation:

And here is a video explaining it + a tutorial:

Just download Forge for the correct version you want to use, select the Forge profile the Forge installer creates, and put the mods you download for the same version in your .minecraft's location "mods" folder. You can probably find a better explanation on youtube.

I don't think you understood my question at all. I have a bunch of class files that I made using MCP without Forge, and I want a way to put them into my Minecraft installation. I'm not downloading any mods, just using the tweaks I created by themselves.

posted a message on Just got back into Minecraft, need help using my mod

So I just got back into Minecraft after a LONG time and I usually play with my own set of tweaks to the game. To do this, I used to just open up MCP, change a few things around, recompile, reobfuscate, and stick the classes into my minecraft.jar. It looks like some things have changed with the last step of my process and I'm not exactly sure how to do it with the new profiles feature. I copied the "1.8.3" profile and named it "1.8.3-Custom" (along with all the other files or instances of 1.8.3) and stuck my classes into the 1.8.3-Custom.jar. I then created a new profile using the version "1.8.3-Custom" and played it, but none of my changes were there, it was just vanilla 1.8.3. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Finally got it working in my Minecraft, but there is one problem: It doesn't download map items. Does anyone know why? It doesn't work when they are on the wall or in my hand. Thanks!

posted a message on Dogecoin Integrated Server - Dogecraft.net
    Introduction:
You may or may not have heard of Dogecoin. If you haven't, it is a fun and internet oriented version of Bitcoin. One Dogecoin is worth about 1/25th of a cent (yes, they are actually worth real money!), which doesn't seem like a lot, but it is when you can easily rack up thousands of them. Where Dogecraft.net comes into play is that Dogecoins are fun to have, but hard on your computer to generate and you can't do much with them. Dogecraft introduces a whole new level to the currency, as you can put your Dogecoins directly into your server balance. With the money on the server, you can buy or sell stuff to other players, or gamble with it at the casino. Once you have a fair amount of Dogecoins, you can actually withdraw the coins from the server instantly to your own wallet. This means that you can actually make money from playing Minecraft! The server has currently paid out over 1 million Dogecoins, or about $360 at the time of posting.

    The Server:
    IP: mine.dogecraft.net

    Commands:
/doge deposit (Gives the player an address to send Dogecoins)
/doge verify (Type once your transaction the server has been confirmed)
/doge withdraw [amount] [address] (Sends Dogecoins to that address)
... plus many more from your favorite Bukkit plugins!

    New to Dogecoin?
Dogecoin is a completely anonymous, virtual, cryptocurrency. It spawned from Bitcoin as a joke, but people are realizing its actual value and it has spread quickly throughout the internet. Click Here to download the client so that you can have your own Dogecoins stored on your computer.

posted a message on [Request] Someone with permissionsEx plz!
Here is what I can whip up, obviously change permissions to match what you want someone to be able to do (currently, everyone can do exactly the same thing). Also, with only PermissionsEx, you cannot do things like buying ranks or winning them from battles, you need another plugin to handle that
