I downloaded this mod so I could check the bounding boxes of a nether fortress that I build a wither farm at, and they seem to be all wrong. There are outlines for fortresses that never existed, and no bounding boxes on the fortress that I built at, or any others, even though there are wither skeletons spawning (albeit slower than usual). The map was generated in 1.7 and is on a server running 1.8.3. I loaded it in single player with 1.8 Forge and experienced the problem. (I also noticed that slime chunks were incorrect, but villages and witch farms were right.)
EDIT: Found out that the seed of my map randomly changed, so it was showing bounding boxes for a new seed on old generated land. I fixed the seed so it's back to the original, but the fortress bounding boxes don't line up with the fortresses generated on the same seed.
Ok, don't know who to ask with this so I'll just post it here. For some reason, my computer hates this map. On Minecraft, I normally get about 130fps on far render distance, even with complex redstone and huge structures. But right when I set foot in the middle of this map, my frames drop to 27fps, and never rise above 29fps, even on tiny render distance. Flying around the immediate perimeter of the map I get about 100fps, but the middle of it is just a lag fest. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
I was wondering if it is still possible to change the block and item names in a texture pack in Minecraft 1.0.0? I created a special texture pack for my creative server, and changed the names of some of the blocks and items to match in the .lang file. That worked in 1.8, but now I guess Minecraft does not use the .lang file for texture packs anymore. Whenever I have my texture pack activated, the custom blocks and items still have the default names. Is there any way to change the names so they changes with the selection of the texture pack, or will it require my users to mod their Minecraft clients to get the names changed?
I did not include any mods in the installer to allow for custom water and lava textures to display. As a result, the default water and lava textures should be displayed.
Ok, thanks for clearing that up. I was just wondering because it had a purple texture when I was looking at the files.
I am having a problem with the water and lava textures. Everything else works fine, but the water and lava textures are still the default ones. I tried reinstalling the texture pack, and I replaced the default terrain.png with the Voxel one. Any help on getting the water and lava textures to work will be much appreciated.
Is the new version of this TP not compatible with Zombe's Modpack? I've tried all of the recommended ways of installing them both, and I can only get the Modpack to work.
Is there any way to obtain an error report on a Mac? I'm just running Zombe's ModPack and only have FlyMod enabled. Whenever I try to place a block in single player and multiplayer, Minecraft crashes and doesn't let me copy the error report. Any help would be much appreciated.
