Hey everyone, looking forward to checking this out!
Minecraft In Game Name (case sensitive): J_Bot
Where are you from?: Urbana, IL
Your age?: 27
Have you read and agreed to the rules in the post below?: Yes...the wilderness awaits
Extra notes?: Having run a small server for a few friends who stopped playing, I am interested in exploring a world where I might actually run into someone else!
While your choice of topic title might be debatable, have you looked at your Nvidia control panel settings?
I have similar components to your machine (not as crazy as yours!) and I get 300 ish FPS with little or no issues. Have you changed any of the Nvidia settings such as v-sync or pre-rendered frames? I kept my setting for Minecraft at stock and haven't had any problems. I know for some other more graphically intense games, forcing v-sync on smoothed things over for me, as long as you can maintain a good frame rate. But I'm pretty sure Minecraft doesn't do too well with forced settings for things like anti-aliasing and such.
Just for reference this is what I have:
Corei7 (930) Overclokced to 3.5 Ghz
Win 7 Pro 64-bit
6 GB ram
Nvidia GTX 470 (I think it has around a GB of onboard memory)
The shock of the egg hitting a surface causes a mini Nether portal to open, sending the egg hurtling through space and time, only to emerge as an adult chicken in the exact same spot.
This all happens too fast for us to see though...just imagine it like Jodie Foster's trip from Contact...
Yeah, not sure what is wrong... but my console is getting spammed with all kinds of errors (messages in red.. haven't seen these before) and kicking my users with messages like: "Don't use haxs" and such. Something is broken somewhere.
Same here, I use McAdmin to run a tiny server for me and my friends, now McAdmin kicks people and accuses them of hacking.
On a side note, can we change these messages? Saying "Don't use haxs" is fine enough, but calling the player a F*g in the same message is way inappropriate for some of the people that play on my server. If I had known this before I would NOT be running this software, even though I really like it.
I've had the same issue where certain areas around my spawn point have instantly re-spawning blocks, but some areas don't? I've noticed sometimes if I come back later some of the blocks are breakable...seems random though
Are you playing on a locally hosted server? (I am)

$50 and I'll be convinced...
Maybe it is related to this?
Who knows...
