Garry's Mod. (And that's the only one that I know of since I'm ignorant).
I meant it to mean that "there are plenty of games in the genre" rather than "there aren't any". I guess i should of put a question mark at the end of the sentence.
Pretty dumb how sheep don't grow their wool back. I can only guess that its maybe because they don't want it so that 1 dye makes infinite colored wool? But if that was the case just make them always grow back their original wool color?
It has nothing to do with that. If they considered this a problem they would have just made ice melt into nothing in the nether. I consider ice becoming water in nether a bug anyway because water should evaporate in there (like it does when you bucket it). I am sure there was an unrelated reason for the change which also resulted in them not needing to fix the ice->water nether bug because it is no longer possible to occur with legit play anyway.
Regardless of why it was fixed i think that the decision to not allow water in the nether via a very rare enchant is really dumb.
I totally agree. I think people are being ridiculous whining about how the game has an "End" now and how that makes it not a sandbox game anymore. Like there isn't ANY other game in the "sandbox" genre that doesn't have an "end". Give me a break people.
if its REALLY because they don't want to make killing blazes easier (not that they aren't already super easy once you get 2 blaze rods, 1 for the brewing stand and then another to make 6 fire resist potions that make you invulnerable to them anyways) then i think it was a TERRIBLE decision. With all the trouble you go to to get Silk Touch i think you should atleast be able to make farms in the nether with ice water and grass.... But hey, if they don't change it back i guess i don't have to worry about trying to get silk touch anymore.
Its SUPPOSED to let you do things that you couldn't do before, but you have to EARN it. Its supposed to be hard to get grass and water in the nether. Your ideas would totally remove that feeling of accomplishment and just make it standard to be able to do so. Not as rewarding in my opinion.
Everything always has to be just right. I spent 2 hours creating the 4 block descent from my house into my basement because i couldn't get it just ow i liked it. It ended up being a double ladder in the corner into the storage area. It works perfectly.
What i want to know is how you could POSSIBLY spend 2 hours on this. First you try stairs. That takes five minutes tops. Then you try ladders. That takes 5 minutes tops. What the hell else could you of possibly done?
I don't understand why people get so offended over the idea of a credits screen. All it shows is that you beat the toughest monster the game has to offer. Its the end of the "Adventure" part of the game, but after that you can go back to building and doing whatever you were doing before you went on the adventure. Theres still infinite possibilities of things you can do. You don't even have to TRY to go achieve that end in the first place. You people are really being quite silly.
I always use stone tools for everything ican even though i have like 8 stacks of iron bars.
I always keep the first four slots of my hotbar the same (Pick, Shovel, Sword, Torch) and the other slots i rarely change (only for building or doing certain tasks like farming or breeding).
Sorry i don't really like it. It looks all mismatched and random with no room to actually put anything in it. And it took you way more than 1 in game day anyways.

Uhmmm aren't there already strongholds in 1.8? Or was i mistaken. I thought all they added in 1.9 was the end portal to the strongholds.
